The search function never seems to work on this site on any computer I use, so I searched through the Personal Charts section the old fashioned way and did not discover anything, although I vaguely remember this topic being discussed before in some fashion.
Regardless, sorry if I'm beginning a topic that has already been discussed at length here, but I wanted to give fellow chart posters a chance to list all "one hit wonders." Here are mine:
One-Hit Wonders:
Chronic Future - Time And Time Again Madina Lake - House Of Cards Stereophonics - Dakota Secret Machines - Nowhere Again Dynamite Hack - Boyz-N-The Hood Tenacious D - Wonderboy Lo-Pro - Sunday Ours - Leaves Travis - Side Cave In - Inspire Sense Field - Save Yourself Ash - Burn Baby Burn Basement Jaxx - Where's Your Head At At The Drive-In - One Armed Scissor Hot Rod Circuit - The Pharmacist Oceansize - Heaven Alive MxPx - Responsibility Nappy Roots - Awnaw Phantom Planet - California Cold - Suffocate Music - Breakin' Acroma - Sun Rises Down Blackpool Lights - Blue Skies Future Leaders Of The World - Let Me Out Moth - I See Sound Nightmare Of You - I Want To Be Buried In Your Backyard Count The Stars - Taking It All Back Soundtrack Of Our Lives - Sister Surround Dears - Disclaimer Saves The Day - At Your Funeral I Hate Kate - It's Always Better Lazyboy - Underwear Goes Inside The Pants Living End - Who's Gonna Save Us Trail Of Dead - Let It Dive HelloGoodbye - Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn Rilo Kiley - Portions For Foxes Classic Crime - Coldest Heart Shout Out Louds - The Comeback Erase The Grey - Rain
I used several criterion for compiling this list. I didn't include classic artists like Jane's Addiction who may have only scored one hit on my personal chart but who assuredly would have scored several more had my chart existed earlier. Also, I'm not including recent artists or artists who have scored success in the past, say, three years, who have *not* recorded a "second" album. (This does not include artists who have disbanded). I want to give those artists a chance to release new material.
Anyway, several of these artists may have scored minor success with a second, third, or even a fourth song. However, no song really achieved jdmasta289 glory like the listed songs. Yes, it is slightly subjective, since there are no perameters for cut-off (i.e. if an artist scored another top 10, would it count as another one-hit wonder, etc.?)

I'm confused as to why you have Cold on there....they have 8 songs that charted on Mainstream and 5 that charted on modern including "Stupid Girl" which went to number 4 Mainstream and 6 Modern. I personally couldn't list Stereophonics on my one hit wonder list either but that's mainly because I've followed them forever and they have a ton of UK hits.
I take it though that you are only talking about songs that were on your personal radar. I agree with most of them, even some I haven't heard. I'd have to do some research to see what songs I would consider one hit wonders, especially in the rock era of the last 10-15 years.

I take it though that you are only talking about songs that were on your personal radar. Precisely. This list was compiled based on the songs' performances on my own personal chart, not the national (or global) arena. So this list is entirely my own. Obviously, Cold have had one (if not two) bigger hits than "Suffocate" and several other comparably performed songs.

That's a cool idea, I've never seen a list of personal one hit wonders before.
by the way I loved It's Always Better but they wouldn't be a one hit wonder to me because I also charted fairly high I'm In Love With A Sociopath and their cover of Major Tom(Coming Home) . Bed of Black Roses charted but not very high.
Save Yourself was one of my faves of the decade as well. Too bad they disappeared.

Acts with only one song, and it made it to #1: (I don't count USA For Africa, given the nature of the song)
Jim Steinman "Rock & Roll Dreams Come True" (1981) Al Green "Put A Little Love In Your Heart" (1988) Candy Dulfer "Lily Was Here" (1991) Dionne Farris "I Know" (1995) Nicki French "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" (1995) (Only case in which a one-hit wonder made another drop from #1.) Garou "Sous Le Vent" (2001) Lady Saw "Underneath It All" (2002) Il Divo "I Believe In You (Je Crois En Toi)" (2006) A. R. Rahman "Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny)" (2009) Afrojack "Give Me Everything" (2011) Pia Toscano "This Time" (2011)
The acts in blue were part of a duet or were featured acts. The acts in red had that one and only solo hit.

My one hit wonders, pretty much in less than 3 years...
Michel Teló: "Ai Se Eu Te Pego" went number one on my chart in February 2012. He never returned to the chart again. Ian Carey: not only my shortest running number one hit (7 weeks), but also a one hit wonder with "Amnesia" in 2012! (This song also features Rosette, Timbaland and Brasco, they are also one hit wonders) K'Naan: he was at number one in 2012 with "Is Anybody Out There?". I never charted songs of him after this smash! Rock Mafia: was featured on Aura Dione's 2012 number one hit "Friends". However, Aura isn't a one hit wonder on my chart. Tone Damli and Eric Saade: these singers teamed up for 2012 #1-hit "Imagine". They both never returned to the chart again! Wanz: was featured on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' 2013 #1-hit "Thrift Shop". Fun fact: he's the oldest artist I've ever charted. Yuna: a Malaysian singer who teamed up with Owl City for 2013 #1-hit (and The Croods soundtrack) "Shine Your Way"! Lights: Her only song I charted was the acoustic version of "Cactus In The Valley", with Owl City... still love this song. Salem Al Fakir and Dan Tyminski officially aren't credited for Avicii's songs "You Make Me" en "Hey Brother", but they are one hit wonders. Chad Kroeger was featured on 2013 number one hit "Let Me Go" by Avril Lavigne.
I will add 2014 one hit wonders to this list when the year is over.

Here are my one-hit wonders, sorted into two categories based on their strength as a one-hit wonder. With both lists, featured artists are disregarded in favor of simplicity.
(both lists accurate through the 12/30/15 chart)

Beartooth - In Between - #1 Mumford & Sons - The Wolf - #1 Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong? - #3 Parkway Drive - Vice Grip - #4 White Rabbits - Percussion Gun - #4 Alessia Cara - Here - #5 Hilltop Hoods - Cosby Sweater - #5 Chromeo - Jealous (I Ain't With It) - #6 FIDLAR - 40oz. On Repeat - #6 Green Day - X-Kid - #6 My Morning Jacket - Compound Fracture - #7 LCD Soundsystem - Dance Yrself Clean - #9
~Sort Of One-Hit Wonders~ These Top 10-peaking tracks had other songs from the same artist chart, but none of those tracks have reached a Top 50 (minor hit) peak.
Damon Albarn - Mr. Tembo - #1 Pharrell Williams - Happy - #1 TV On The Radio - Happy Idiot - #1 Daft Punk - Instant Crush [ft. Julian Casablancas] - #2 The Blue Stones - Rolling With The Punches - #6 Arkells - Leather Jacket - #7 SomeKindaWonderful - Reverse - #8 Earl Sweatshirt - Chum - #9 Mike Doughty - Light Will Keep Your Heart Beating In The Future - #9 311 - Five of Everything - #10
Green Day and Mike Doughty probably shouldn't count but they fit the criteria. Green Day is one of my all-time favorite groups, but their material has been lacking lately, and Mike Doughty just released his new album so I might find something else to chart from it soon. Either way, both of these acts easily would have had multiple Top 10s in the past if my chart had existed, whereas most of the rest I only found out about after the chart started so wouldn't haven't charted earlier. Just figured I'd add that extra information in.
