Twitter is reporting that Carrie will be on the Early Show on Tuesday, and that she will be signing autographs at the Apple Store in NYC. Is this confirmed? I have the Dish Network so I checked their programming schedule for next week and it does indeed say Carrie is going to be on the Early Show on Tuesday, March 30. The Early Show What to do when a natural disaster strikes while on vacation; singer Carrie Underwood.

^ Thanx! Another tweet came in from Pedigree dog food, mentioning the Early Show on Tuesday and winning a chance to bring your dog to hang with Carrie Underwood. So I am thinking maybe this is to promote Pedigree?
Tweet:
RT:harper22:Are you a dog owner in NYC? Send me a DM if you (& your dog!) are interested in being on the CBS EARLY SHOW w/ CARRIE UNDERWOOD!

Thanks I think it was the first time I saw the whole background video for Undo It. And for the first time I think my eyes were not even once on the real Carrie lol. I was watching this person Change video and Carrie seems to be watching a lot the dress. There was something wrong with it? I dont think there was anything different from the other shows.

EDIT: Guns n Roses are back in Carrie's set! Woohoo! I miss when she rocks out to GNR! :) I love the Summer of 69 song too, but nothing fits Carrie's voice like GNR. :)
^ Carrie mentioned the tour getting off to a really good start except for the terrible accident, but she didn't go into details about it. She mentioned having fun playing in Ottawa before her future family & part time home, etc, and she said she will be on the Early Show Tuesday for the Pedigree shelter dog campaign. Then she talked about Temporary Home being close to number 1 and she thanked us for our hard work. She mentioned how special the song is to her, etc.

Cool, I love Carrie's cover of that song! Ryan Seacrest was interviewed on Oprah. When asked, he declined to answer who his fave Idol was as it was like picking your fave child or puppy, but said he really enjoyed seeing Carrie's success. Oprah likes that Carrie handles her success well and is grounded. Also, Ryan's mom is a Carrie fan too. MJ's Big Blog has videos. The Carrie mention is in the second vid, at around the 3:05 mark.

I was watching this person Change video and Carrie seems to be watching a lot the dress. There was something wrong with it? I dont think there was anything different from the other shows. If you look at the lower left side (Carrie's right) there are a few LED lights that glow dimly the whole time. I don't know what she's looking at exactly though, since she's looking down in a few different directions, not just towards those lights.

OMG that Undo It video. Dayum, Fierce Carrie is hot! :O I wasn't that crazy about having this as the next single, but if it means releasing this video, yes please! jeff, I think the smile at the end is kind of a cute ending for the video. It sort of says "I'm still my sweet self. That was just a taste of how I'll be if you piss me off" to the guy

I don't quite understand this video... Why does it have her down for Single of the Year and Video of the Year? She didn't get nominated in those categories.

^ Maybe they submitted the video before the nominations came out?
Vinman-- thanx for capping the countdown! I am so happy she talked about meeting Celine Dion! I was dying to know what she was like in real life! :) Sounds like she was very cool per Carrie.

Too sleepy to review Amherst, but here is my video of Carrie singing "Happy Birthday" to the drummer Garrett, who turned twenty-three:

Another Great Review from UMass Concert! www.masslive.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2010/03/carrie_underwood_at_the_mullin.htmlCarrie Underwood at the Mullins By Donnie Moorhouse March 28, 2010, 10:15AM Carrie Underwood AMHERST _ Carrie Underwood brought her "Play On" tour to the Mullins Center on the campus of the University of Massachusetts on Saturday night, entertaining a just-shy-of-a-sellout crowd with a 90-minute set of country pop and rock. The star of the fourth season of "American Idol" has taken up a residence in New England over the last few weeks playing everywhere from the Connecticut casinos to the DCU Center in Worcester and Saturday night's stop in Amherst. When the lights dimmed Underwood rose out of the stage floor on a rotating settee wearing bow tie and tails while spewing "Cowboy Casanova." She was joined by a seven-piece band and a single backing vocalist on a multi-media stage flanked by two video screens. After rolling through "Quitter" Underwood roused the crowd with "Wasted" one of several hits from her debut "Some Hearts" while the stage rose beneath her and lifted her above the crowd. She descended in time to deliver the ballad "I Know You Won't." Underwood shed the tux jacket and picked up an electric guitar imploring "make some noise Massachusetts" while banging away through "Some Hearts." The moving parts on stage revealed a tree swing and Underwood, who had ducked backstage for a costume change, returned to swing to-and-fro through "Just A Dream" and stayed with the backyard theme during "Temporary Home." She offered "Someday When I Stop Loving You" before picking up the guitar again for "All-American Girl" and then easing slightly off the pace for another power ballad, "Seems So Small." Underwood's performance showed why she has laid all other "Idol" winners to waste when it comes to success in concert and on the country charts. She sings as well as anyone on the circuit and her charisma comes through with each song. The highlight of the performance came when Underwood hopped in the bed of a pickup truck that quickly elevated above the crowd and circled the arena while she crooned the classic "Take Me Home Country Roads." Once back, the mechanical stage and that aforementioned voice took her to new heights on her first ever single "Jesus, Take the Wheel," which she capped off with a soaring "How Great Thou Art." She brought out opening act Sons of Sylvia to sing on "What Can I Say," (the band is featured on the recorded version). Underwood left briefly and returned in an electrically-lit Technicolor gown to sing "Just a Fool." Underwood couldn't leave with out bringing a little Nashville to Amherst. Dressing the stage to look like the Ryman Auditorium, complete with the Grand Ole Opry logo and 650 WSM radio logo, she sang a duet with a video of Randy Travis performing "I Told You So." The show turned interactive when Underwood revealed she had asked fans through her website to pick a musical genre for her to delve into during the show. The local crowd apparently picked the rock category as the singer unveiled Bryan Adams' "Summer of '69." Both Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia offered opening sets. Morgan served up his sermon "That's What I Love About Sunday" with a sampling of the traditional "Amazing Grace." He included his current single "This Ain't Nothing," along with a cover of Lionel Ritchie's "Easy Like Sunday Morning" and used Steve Miller's "The Joker" as a prelude to his hit "Redneck Yacht Club."

I didn’t have music. I had a click track in my ears, so I could keep some sort of time, but it dropped out at the end. So I could have gone faster or slower.” I'm glad she addressed that; I have a lot of respect for her doing it with just a click track at such a huge event.

Good for her though. I can't imagine singing in front of so many people having not even a backing track.

Carrie posted on the FC and explained that the recently found For Your Consideration video was for the 1st round of voting. Those were the nominations they wanted.
