I can't believe we, of all people, got our fave to be called Jabba. Jealousy rears its ugly head. SMH. Must have been one of those Clark son fans! They pretty mad these days. It was probably that HAM freakshow. What a loser.

You serious? Oh lord. My point still stands though. The hacker gave us the ugly name. SMDH. I know right? Why not Princess Leia....:sigh:

Epasek has some really kickass videos from Worcester. The LN video is even edited with some special effects:

Some people picked on Carrie's giant red dress last year at the ACMS and called her Jabba the Hut because of the way the dress covered the entire room...lol so maybe that is where they got the mean name from? not sure. lol

Jabba gave $10k to Pittsburgh Animal Rescue shelters today before her concert! This European site somehow got videos of it. lol She looks really cute! url4.eu/2A3Q9^He should have went with Princess Lea then, for obvious reasons. lol

On CF they are reporting that Carrie sang Aerosmith's "Living on the Edge" tonight.
Wonder if there were any April Fool's pranks at the show tonight?

On CF they are reporting that Jabba sang Aerosmith's "Living on the Edge" tonight. Wonder if there were any April Fool's pranks at the show tonight? I just got home from the concert... I spent all day trying to forget it was April Fool's Day that I didn't even bother to think about how Carrie/Craig/Sons Of Sylvia might try to pull off some pranks at the concert tonight. None of them attempted any pranks during the concert. Livin' On The Edge was a pleasant surprise. I had texted a friend earlier that afternoon, saying that I hope we get a new (cover) song tonight...but I didn't really expect it. I'm not sure the crowd was ready for it. I loved it & I was singing along to every word. But it seemed like very few other people in the audience were doing the same. The person I was sitting with asked me if I thought anyone under the age of 20 at the concert actually knew the song. (That's depressing). It could be a valid point. Sweet Child O' Mine, Summer Of '69, etc, are well known songs. Livin' On The Edge is probably a cut below the others on the recognition scale. It seemed to me like Carrie had a slight head cold tonight. A couple people I was with agreed. A couple others said they didn't think/notice that at all. She still hit all the high notes flawlessly, but it seemed like some of the normal range notes were a little off at times, which I thought may have been to due to a head cold...but who knows. There wasn't a lot of chatter tonight...and the chatter that she did do was mostly just a re-hash of everything that's been said before. That reinforced my belief that she had a slight head cold. (Anyone under the weather doesn't really enjoy bantering) Then again, it could've just been the crowd. Everyone on the floor stood the entire time & was cheering...but nobody shouted out anything that Carrie could counter with a quick comeback. That's kind of just Pittsburgh in general. Our sports teams (except for the Pirates) get to the conference finals or beyond pretty often and there are large stretches during the games where the crowd will just stand & watch. We demand excellence, but we don't go out of our way to be overly enthusiastic about it. It's a spoiled crowd. All the usual points in the show brought the house down (I Know You Won't, the blue truck segment, Jesus Take The Wheel/How Great Thou Art, Before He Cheats, etc). Comparing it to the other one I've been to on this tour, I liked Reading better. But I'd still give Pittsburgh a solid B+.

This will not be a popular opinion but Someday When I Stop Loving You needs to be a single. Everyone agrees with you, so... it IS a popular opinion.

I got video of Living on the Edge, which i'll upload tomorrow afternoon, or maybe by then someone else would have uploaded it. It wasn't a slam dunk performance compared to SCOM. I think mainly because the verses were mainly in her lower register (even though she's improved on it, her lower register is still no where close to the awesomeness of her upper register). or maybe because it was her first time singing it. If I had my choice i would have picked Crazy, if she wanted Aerosmith
I'm one of those who agree with robrt30 that i too thought Carrie might have been a bit congested. I thought she had a bit of trouble with some of the falsettos during WCIS
that said, the crowd is a lot better than during Wilkes-Barre. I thought the crowd sang along pretty loud. When Fisher's picture was shown during Mike's Song, and folks in the row right behind me shouted "Let's Go Pens".
And 2 weekday carrie concerts is going to kill me. lol

April Fools' is over. Are we stuck with Jabba forever? It was funny for a while but now it's just irritating.

^ yeah I am sure the poor Kelly Clarkson fans are sick of her hacked thread name too. :(
Great review from Pittsburgh! The good reviews just keep on coming on this tour! Hopefully the CMA voters are paying attention.
I actually like her performance of the Aerosmith song, but I agree there were other choices that would allow her to really show her powerful vocals a little better. But it is so nice to get all these new songs all the time this tour, that I am fine with it.

Interesting about Idol...she says her favorites keep getting voted off. Since she said that person got to Top 12/10, I think it's Didi.

This will not be a popular opinion but Someday When I Stop Loving You needs to be a single. And you would be wrong with that opinion. Count me in as a huge SWISLY fan. It will be a single. Write it down. Probably the next one after UI.
