Bionic is pretty cool. I'm not sure how it would do as a single though.

NMT and WooHoo have both grown on me to a certain extent... But F*CK, I LOVE BIONIC! HOT! Xtina I'm on board, you saucy b*tch! THIS is the sound she's been talkin' 'bout. Agreed. I especially love the pre-chorus in Bionic, for some odd reason.

To be honest, I don't care if Bionic sounds like an MIA or Santigold copy. I'd rather her copy someone left field and not as known than someone popular and all over damn radio already. Oh, and the part "Are you ready, ready, ready to goo??" was stuck in my head all night at work.

She just needs to stop. People don't see her as "expressing her opinion." She does it in a way where it's just rude. The way she says things and how she reacts to things that are being said towards her. It really shows how much animosity she has inside of her.

Oh, and the part "Are you ready, ready, ready to goo??" was stuck in my head all night at work. The "Are you ready, ready, ready to goooo" part reminds me of Madonna for some reason. I can't put my finger on it. But I love that part.

Lady Gaga is a newcomer, am I correct?? Doesn't she wear wacky outfits ALL the time? I didn't see anything shady about Christina's comments in OUT magazine. I could see if she was calling Rihanna or Bey a newcomer, but c'mon, Gaga didn't become popular till last year.

Bionic is interesting, but it sounds like her singing someone else's song for sure. It doesn't feel authentic at all.

In Christina's mind Christina is a star. That's all that matters. She thinks her voice is enough of an art and sadly its not. We're in the age where a persona and identity is more important than actual talent. Lots of people can sing. Very few can make an impact.

And given Gaga's level of success it does come across and rude and also envious.

So Woohoo is confirmed as the 2nd single? If it does badly, which I think it will, will this era even be salvageable after that or will it just never recover at that point? I think Bionic might end up like Mariah's MOAIA. A good or great album, but without successful singles, except without even the success of one single - unless they pull something incredible out as a later single.

I love how when Christina makes a comment towards another artist it blows into several pages of essay's and "theories", but when somebody like P!nk who also does the same thing people go eh and shrug it off. I'm certainly not a Christina h@ter but I think one can easily distinguish P!nk's comments about contemporaries she doesn't like from the articles/interviews where Christina may say something that's perceived as backhanded towards contemporaries. P!nk is very blatant about people she doesn't like with Christina being one of them. Christina isn't as blatant so there's a great deal of gray. This leads people to speculate about what her comments meant and, of course, people will automatically assume she's being catty. I don't always believe she's intentionally being this way but it's easy to understand how others do.

Tried to get tickets to her tour this morning...then I saw the prices and decided she was not worth it. $282 per ticket for Orchestra seats :o I wouldn't be surprised if she does sell out many dates with those prices.

The prices for this tour are ridiculous. I wanted to go so I can see Leona perform but the prices are outrageous.

um..no. Not going to pay $175 to see her perform like a 4 song set, especially as I have no interest in seeing Christina. It's simply not a good value.
But I'm sure the tour will sell out either way. She can get away with it only because it's a theater tour, there is no way she could sell out an arena tour charging these outrageous prices.

This era will so be DOA if RCA sticks with releasing WooHoo. Release Bionic instead! I'm sure most people would agree that it is better and with the right performances/video it could smash unlike WooHoo. Glad it only is for CHR/Rhy for now but I hope that doesn't later transfer to the CHR/Pop list. I'm thinking the other way around. If they release Bionic then is REALLY over, it sounds like sh!t to me. Woohoo sounds like a hit for sure. Its so catchy.

It wouldn't make since, making her look stupid. The point is, she didn't need to say "she's the newcomer" period, because no matter what that comes across b!tchy, especially "she's fun to look at". Christina loves saying little sh!t like that, so she shouldn't be surprise when bloggers or anyone start saying crap about her.

"Oh, the newcomer?" comes off condescending, and I seriously don't understand why people are trying to find away to defend that. Maybe she didn't mean it to sound that way, but don't play dumb.
Also, "she's fun to look at" isn't a compliment. It sounds shady. Christina just needs to keep those lips zipped about other artists and only unzip them when asked about the album. That should be her top priority right now.

That should be her top priority right now. Yep. I kinda agree. I've defended Christina a bit around these parts as of late but she simply must choose her words better if she doesn't want them to be "taken out of context." Gaga is a newcomer but pointing that out when asked to comment on her does read as stand-offish.
