They actually played Atlanta on May :) There was a 2 day event at the College Park Amphitheater. New Edition headlined Friday night and Erykah Badu headlined Saturday night. SWV performed Friday. I was traveling for work in DC and couldn't attend. Nevermind. I'd forgot. I refused to go to that show because I did not want to see BOBBBBAAAAYY!! I was wondering why the Keith Sweat tour didn't come here.

Their summer tour with the Fresh Music Festival was canceled due to low ticket sales and all three women are pissed about the second single choice so... I hope they maybe schedule their own mini-tour as headliners, even if that means playing smaller venues like House of Blues. That'd be a nice intimate way to bring in their fanbase and to maybe gain more exposure if they create a really amazing show (which, by judging their segment on the Fresh Music Festival, I could see happening). I wasn't too happy with the second single choice, but I say, why not go ahead and promote it and help it become a hit, and then hope that it does well enough for the label to give the album a much-needed (based on all those potential hits!) third single.

I wish it were closer to 100k, but I'm glad they've sold that much so far.

Me too George P but their numbers are better than some artists on major labels. I wonder how much they are selling per week and if they can hit 100K by the end o the year.
The ladies need new label, management and get a publicist for their next album.

If they had a second out single by now, this would've definitely been closer to the 100k mark. E1 dropping the ball on "Love Unconditionally" really killed off the momentum they built with "Co-Sign". I don't think it's too late to get this back on track, but E1 needs to get their stuff together.

Did "Love Unconditionally" ever receive an official release?

I dont understand why they wouldn't go with "Do Ya" especially since its clear Urban AC is going to be their core format now.

I still think this is the R&B album of 2012.

I still think this is the R&B album of 2012. I agree. They better get some overdue-Grammy nominations!

In today's market, with a group that has been disbanded for 15 years and with little promotion on an indie label, 48k is not bad at all. With the right push, the project could reach 100k, but the proper synergy between artist and label is not present for the 100k to occur.

If they could manage to get some more tour dates and get some exposure to the new album, I think they could clear 100k. They just need that one little "single that could" start to make some noise at Urban AC and solowly build from there.

This album is definitely one of the standout R&B releases of 2012. It's a shame that the girls don't have that promotional aspect behind them because the record is pure quality music. Love Unconditionally is a good single choice, and I think Show Off would make a good single as well.

Coko tweeted about some "huge news" on the horizon for SWV. Not sure when they'll make the announcement, but I'm guessing it's one of the following: their reality show was picked up and given the greenlight / or they're starting on another tour.
Regardless, I'm excited to hear their news!

^ No clue.
They left for Japan a few hours ago. They must have some performance dates over there.

After overlooking SWV in their initial nominations, Centric/Soul Train Awards have added a "Best Independent R&B/Soul Artist or Group" category:

Well! The ladies have new management alwaysalist.com/music/swv-black-girls-rock/SWV recently joined MBK Entertainment, the management firm run by Jeff Robinson, former manager of Alicia Keys. MBK Entertainment also represents R&B singers Elle Varner and Tyrese, as well as “Love & Hip-Hip ATL” star K. Michelle.

I hope this means more promo like perhaps a mini headlining tour, as well as some TV performances (Good Day, Good Morning America). Anything to propel the buzz they need to nab that Grammy nomination(s)!
