I watched the show on Epix this morning, incredible as usual. I'm gonna be a sobbing mess at this show with the three hitter Who Knew- Time after Time- and Fucking Perfect. She looked and sounded her absolute best. I can't wait to see her next month!

Nice article. Here's to hoping for a soul pop/rock album! "I'm Not Dead" remains flaw free.

She looked and sounded her absolute best. I can't wait to see her next month! She didn't sing TAT in DC though. She did an awesome job with WK and then she sang FP after rambling about how she was gonna be a lady and leave the swearing to us cute ;)

She didn't sing Time After Time in Chicago either. Too bad, I would have preferred that to Wicked Games which wasn't my favorite. Probably needed that one for logistics more but I would have loved TAT.

On the cover of Billboard: Read the cover story here. Thanks for posting this- my favourite interview with her to date. I especially enjoyed reading her perspective on collaborations and how even she had to fight for them- I (and Kelly and most her her fans) am still waiting for one between her and Kelly Clarkson....GRR ! To me, Pink is the biggest and most talented pop star today: vocals, songwriting, dancing, and overall entertainment. To think that she is at or holding a career peak while in 14th year in the business as a solo artist is just beyond AMAZING and further cements her status as a Pop LEGEND, along with Beyonce. IMO, there are only probably 1-2 other Pop artists who are PRE-legends, but Pink is already there !

I agree. She's a unique performer. She's as good as an entertainer as Beyoncé, obviously both of them have their strong points.
I guess the only thing she needs to finally cement her status as a legend and icon of her generation is another iconic song. Just Give Me a Reason is an amazing record and one of her biggest hits (if not the biggest) but she needs another one like that.

She does tend to be underrated, for some reason. Definitely one of my favorites to emerge since 2000. omg.yahoo.com/blogs/celeb-news/pink-pokes-fun-miley-cyrus-while-accepting-billboard-235919894.htmlPink Pokes Fun at Miley Cyrus While Accepting Billboard Magazine Woman of the Year AwardBy Jenny Depper- omg! Pink definitely knows how to leave a crowd speechless! The 34-year-old performer did just that on Tuesday at the 2013 Billboard Women in Music Awards in New York City when she was honored as Billboard Magazine's Woman of the Year and delivered a heartfelt acceptance speech peppered with wisecracks about her fellow pop stars. "What do you say when someone says, 'Hey, you're woman of the year'? If you are me, you think of all the other women out there who deserve it more. Hilary Clinton, Angelina Jolie … Miley Cyrus if you're high as s--t and really into tongues," she joked, before adding that she was humbled and grateful for the honor. It's been a great 2013 for the platinum-haired babe, who scored two Grammy nominations (Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance) for her chart-topper, "Just Give Me a Reason," with Fun! frontman Nate Ruess. The songbird, who was accompanied by her husband Carey Hart at the gala, also noted that she hopes her legacy will be about more than just her music. "I wish to be remembered for my humor and my passion, but most of all my ability to go from angel to asshole in 3.5 seconds," she said to the crowd before revealing her biggest inspirations this year. "My husband Carey, whom I love with my whole being. I know it may come as a shock to some of you, but being married to me cannot be an easy task. We created this beautiful baby girl, who has been my greatest teacher." Aw! Pink also gave a shout out to her fellow Billboard Award winner Janelle Monáe, who snapped up the Rising Star award from the music magazine. Monáe's own acceptance speech was powerful and moving, much like her latest album "The Electric Lady." "I am just so humbled and honored to be recognized at such an early stage in my career," she said before acknowledging her mother and grandmother, whom she revealed both worked hard as single parents to give her the opportunity to succeed. "[My mother] proudly wore a uniform every day as she served the community and the school district for many years as a custodian. [My mother and grandmother] both wore uniforms, and that's why I wear my black and white, my uniform this afternoon, to honor them." The soiree, hosted by Soledad O'Brien and sponsored by Target, was filled with star power and several musicians were on tap to celebrate the honorees. Tegan and Sara performed two songs in Pink's honor, "Just Like A Pill" and their own special version of "I Was a Fool," while Scottish band Chvrches paid homage to Monáe with a version of "Tightrope" and their own song, "The Mother We Share." Christina Perri, who recently announced she'll be releasing her second album, also performed her new song, "Human." The day was perfectly timed as a precursor for Pink's Grammy run, but even if she doesn't take home Grammy gold on January 26, she's already a winner: "Billboard f--cking magazine made me woman of the year! I win."

Yes to everything about that billboard video. Yes to that speach. Yes to her giving an adolescent hurting closeted gay boy from Adelaide Australia (and this was during TT, where she was hardly the superstar in Ozzie she is today some ten years ago) a voice and hope.
I don't Stan for her like I once did but she is still to me, untouched by this generations batch of women. A legend in the making.

That Superbowl commerical that selected Bey, P!nk, and Britney as female gladiators knew what they were doing. The true legends of their generation of performers.

I finally got to see Pink on Saturday and wow, what a show. I've never seen anything like and probably won't again unless I get to see her in concert another time. I was thoroughly impressed. My favorite performances of the whole night were Just Give Me a Reason, the 2000s medley, and So What, mostly because she flew right over my head. When did she remove Glitter in the Air from the show? I had been told to expect it but it wasn't performed. Regardless, I love her even more than I did before.

^ The show was amazing, of course. :) I have been a big fan since her debut so it was nice to finally see her live. This was her set list last night: 1. Raise Your Glass 2. Walk of Shame 3. Just Like A Pill 4. U& Ur Hand 5. Leave Me Alone (I’m Lonely) 6. Try 7. Wicked Game 8. Just Give Me a Reason 9. Trouble 10. Are We All We Are 11. Sober 12. The Great Escape 13. Who Knew 14. Fuckin’ Perfect 15. Most Girls/There You Go/You Make Me Sick 16. Slut Like You 17. Blow Me (One Last Kiss) 18. So What It was all so amazing. I had mad respect for her talent before this show, but the bar has been raised even higher now for me. She's such a gifted performer and singer, I just can't. My favorite performance was probably Sober. I was memorized by the spinning steal-ball thing she was in. My husband and I also got super excited when she pulled out the real old hits: Most Girls/There You Go/You Make Me Sick. Not many people around us new the words, but I was jammin'. :) I don't think any girls in the business can do what she's doing in concert, save for maybe Beyoncé. I could also tell she was having a fuckin' blast performing last night. Definitely one of the best concerts I've ever been to.

I guess she's dropped "Glitter in the Air" from the setlist. She didn't perform it in ATL back in December, either.

I was singing along, not missing a single word and I was next to some teenagers who looked like question marks, and I'm only in my early 20s :X

The CTMH medley made my life. I fell in love with P!nk from the start. YMMS was (still is one of) my JAM. I was so excited for those at my shows, as well as Try, Sober, So What, and The Great Escape. I guess she's dropped "Glitter in the Air" from the setlist. She didn't perform it in ATL back in December, either. She dropped it after the first leg of the US tour was done. I think it was added only for the US because it was one of her recent career highlights and fans or new fans to her show would have liked to have seen it and might not have gotten to see it on the last tour cause it was so much smaller.

I went NUTS for early stuff, too. I think I was the only person in my general vicinity to know the words to Most Girls/There You Go/You Make Me Sick. That was a big highlight for me.
