'Hung Up' is one of the few Madonna songs I can stomach, sooo... I went with that.

Can't Get You Out of My Head is a true success on all levels, and does so by doing opposite of what is expected. The hooks are short and the music is spare, aspects that one does not really expect from a Minogue song when you stop to think about it.
Hung Up on the other hand, uses the sample as a crutch, desperately trying to add a worthwhile element or use that lives up to that level, but never achieves that desire.

Listened to both right now. Eurotrash? DNW. I guess Kylie, though, since I've heard that song before. Never heard Madonna's before.

Oh come now, don't act like he's missing much... It's not that. But I think even my mom's heard the song, and she probably doesn't know wtf Madonna is. (She doesn't know wtf Obama is.)

^ Wow, Madonna is that irrelevant in the US, huh?

^ Wow, Madonna is that irrelevant in the US, huh? I'm not saying that, but that song isn't one of her most well known, and the stations around me still play Can't Get You Outta My Head from time to time.

Hung Up was never really all that big here, so it doesn't surprise me that a lot of people haven't heard it. It was only a minor hit and not one that ever gets much radioplay anymore.
Anyway, I voted for Kylie, though neither are really my cup of tea.

Easily "Can't Get You Out of My Head". Her performance of the song mashed up with New Order's "Blue Monday" at the 2002 Brit Awards is one of my favorite performances ever. The rock-oriented version on the Aphrodite: Les Folies Tour was awesome as well.

Love both, but "Hung Up"- if only for that orgasmic breakdown and build up (on the album version) before the final chorus kicks in- heavenly.

For me, picking between Kylie and Madge is like trying to pick between children!!!!
Although I'm voting CGYOOMH for its originality, since Hung Up includes a very obvious ABBA sample despite the fact that I dance like a maniac every time it comes on.

CGYOOMH. Somehow, an endless stream of copycats were avoided despite its success, because it's just that brilliant.
