Casey lite started at 11pm EDT... after the on demand version posted. It will be interesting to see if this was just a flub or a new philosophy for the Friday show.
1. In her weekly content screw up Nina called them Starship, at this point they were still being billed as JS. 2. Mark peaked Best of Times at #1, really #3 3. Casey lite cut out the intro to Medley, then Nina credited Sheena with 15 really fourteen top 40s 4. In a double dipper Alan peaked CBB at #20, really #12 after saying Couldn't Get It Right was from 1976 (charted 1977) 5. Alan said Blondie was headed to #1... Rapture had already been to the top.

It's been another rough night for Casey lite
1. Alan said Graceland was one of the best albums of 1987. Problem is it came out in Summer 86 2. In her weekly chart screw up Nina dropped WC 14; really 30-17 for Let's Go 3. Mark peaked I Know What I Like at #25, really #9 4. Nina called Boston's countdown song Can't You Say You Believe Me. Then in her weekly content screw up she said In the Heat Of the Night was the first cassingle, only missed it by 5 years (Vacation by Go Gos) 5. In a double dipper Alan count countdown Come As You Are was Peter Wolf's biggest hit. That would be Lights Out. Then he said Dominoes was Nevil's 2nd biggest behind C'est La Vie... top tenner Wot's It To Ya'?? 6. In their ever changing definition of a hit, Alan mentioned Split Decision from High Life.... it never made the Hot 100.

Why is that version even in Casey lite's database? 2. Mark said Arthur was on Chris Cross debut album; apparently, "Arthur's Theme" was tacked on some (much) later pressings but it definitely wasn't there initially. 3. In her weekly content screw up Nina said ABBA split in 1981 but it wasn't until after 82s Visitors 4. Alan said Beat It was the 2nd Thriller single... really 3rd 5. Mark said it would be a couple weeks for DMRs to get to #1 but as we heard on the real thing from 4/23/83 airing this week, Come On Eileen was there. Mark also said hungry like the wolf was on its way up to #1 I think Mark meant the countdown was headed to #1, not Duran x 2. On today's airing they fixed Culture Club.

Then Alan said it was his final top 40 but just two months ago King had his first Hot 100 top 20 since 1977 w/Blue Xmas. 3. Alan correctly credited EC and His Band, but display for I Can't Stand It listed Clapton only 4. OMG who said countdown What Kind of Fool was the 2nd Babs/ Barry duet after Woman In Love....? Alan was the Guilty party! 5. Mark said Diamond has had 10 pop/AC #1s, really 11 as Song Sung Blue was a double dipper.

They played #2 and 3 out of order Nina also said week of 3/22 when announcing #1. Makes me wonder if they had intended to play that week instead Those would have been the correct 2 & 3 on the '3/22/87" chart. Nina called Madonna's song on the countdown La "Ila" Bonita. And Jets countdown song If You Got It All

There isn't payola BUT... it's amazing how everyone jumps off the bandwagon at once. It's almost like word came down it's time to pull back.

1. In their ever changing definition of a hit, Alan said countdown Radioactive was the only one for Firm... they had other Hot 100 entries. 2. Mark said countdown Rhythm was the first biggie for Diane Warren, but she had a previous top tenner w/Solitaire. 3. Mark said we were three singles into Adams countdown album; Somebody was the 2nd Reckless release 4. Some live version of Save A Prayer... not the hit. Why is that even in their database? 5. Survivor's first top tenner was countdown High On You according to 80s expert Alan.... Eye of Tiger!! OMG!!! 6. In her weekly chart screw up Nina said Survivor lost eight, really ^ 14-22. Then in her weekly content screw up Nina said Too Late For Goodbyes was first Valotte single. 7. Nina called New Edition's countdown song "Telephone Man'

4. Nina said at the time Paula Abdul Jabbar's countdown album was the most successful of all time. I think she left out the key word.... debut 5. Alan said NKOTB came out strong on their 2nd album with the 'Tough title cut and then countdown Right Stuff... but Please Don't Go Girl was the first single, not Hangin' Tough.

Alan cannot say "Roni" correctly. He said it as in "Ronnie" Spector. Someone said on Facebook that they played the completely wrong song around #22. So did Nina. And they screwed up 23 to 19. She also said Bobby Brown's album had 10 top 5s. It actually had 5 or 6 1. They played #21 She Drives Me Crazy in the #23 spot and Astley's '#23 Dance after #19. 2. In her weekly content screw up Nina said Wonder Years premiered in 1989, when it was actually 1988. Then she said Animotion was a duo... they were a group, the two she mentioned including 'Cynthanee Rhodes" were the vocalists. 3. Alan said Lynn Anderson's Garden was 1967, but that Rose didn't bloom on the Hot 100 until late 1970

Alan said countdown Crusin' was Smokey's biggie outside Miracles. That was really Being With You.
