Cute picture! Yeah, I think he may be confused. But I also don't think another single is guaranteed from PO. It wouldn't really help album sales at this point. PO is already 2x platinum. That being said, if MS is the last single, what an epic disaster in terms of the singles this era!

Don't they mean 2009 and 2010?

Seeing as how she hasn't even began on the next album...idk what this guy is talking about. Most likely one of the duets she has recorded (there's also speculations she did a duet with Brad Paisley for his new album, and it could be released after the run through of "This is Country Music") with Randy Travis, Craig Morgan, or one of the other ones she's keeping under wraps. BTW -- the guy just announced again to @ny4carrie on Twitter that there will NOT be a 5th single from PO. So MS was the finale of the PO era, and I'm pretty upset with that.

Words cannot express how saddened, angered, heartbroken, and furious I am to hear that. I was getting ready to hear SWISLY or maybe Q on radio.
btw, did Carrie herself choose "Mama's Song" or was it the label's decision (or both)?

I'm not sure we could totally believe a radio DJ. I mean, it's not completely confirmed. And I'm sure if the Play On singles are all done now, something great is waiting around the corner. They have to have something to bridge the gap between Play on and the next album. She can't go that long without a song on radio. I personally still believe there will be a 5th radio single off of Play On, unless something is already planned.

^ Right. Why is everyone freaking out over what some random radio guy said? Does he have inside info or something that we don't know about? Maybe they just haven't said anything to radio about the next single yet..I swear, some people need to quit thinking the worst all the time.

I don't think Carrie's label would want NO Carrie music on the radio, unless there's another song/duet that's being considered. They have the time before the next cd, take advantage of it. What do they have to lose. Her music/name will be out there while the next album is being written/recorded. It's not rocket science.

I too, don't understand why everyone is freaking out by what some radio dj said. I love that Carrie is being honor for her 2 time Eoty at the acm's Girls night out special, do we know when they will annouce the nominees for the ACM's?. I also agree that she and her label can't go that long without something new for us fans to listen to until the new ablum comes out. Of you are worried about the new single from PO (of there's one) why don't you guys who is a member of fan club send a message to Carrie to ask her about of there's going to be a new single from PO?

How credible is this guy? I seriously don't think he knows what he's talking about. Unless they want the next single to be something from Soul Surfer or something.

Tony Thomas is the music director over at KMPS. He knows what he's talking about. It's not like he is just some local DJ. That being said, I'm sure Carrie will be on the radio in some capacity. Whether it be the Randy Travis duet, Craig Morgan duet, or something else.

KELLY CLARKSON, CARRIE UNDERWOOD CLOSE IN ON SALES MILESTONES
05:10 PM By Brian Mansfield, USA TODAY
Two Idol tracks close in on milestones this week: The Jason Aldean/Kelly Clarkson duet, Don't You Wanna Stay, is this week's top Idol seller and just 10,000 away from a half-million downloads. Carrie Underwood's even closer to her next million-seller: Undo It comes in 1,000 short, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Both are sure to make their marks next week.
Also, Carrie's Temporary Home more than doubled its downloads from last week. Surely that's not all as a result of Paris Tassin singing the song during her audition?
Jason Aldean/Kelly Clarkson, Don't You Wanna Stay (57,000, +5%, 490,000 total) Carrie Underwood, Mama's Song (13,000, -9%, 336,000) Carrie Underwood, Temporary Home (12,000, +160%, 663,000) Carrie Underwood, Undo It (7,000, -9%, 999,000) Carrie Underwood, Cowboy Casanova (5,000, -6%, 1.574 million) Carrie Underwood, Before He Cheats (5,000, +2%, 3.149 million) Jason Castro, You Are (2,000, +8%, 15,000) Jason Castro, Hallelujah [Album Version] (1,000, +31%, 56,000)

So this will be Carrie's fifth 1+ million seller! :)
Jesus, Take the Wheel Before He Cheats All-American Girl Cowboy Casanova Undo It
So Small was at 878k back in April when Paul Grein did a blog about Idol single sales. I wonder how close it is now?

I really wish they would've released "Unapologize". I think that song has HUGE crossover appeal.

I wonder how close it is now? This was back in December so they're all a tad closer but, here is the latest: Just A Dream: 914,000 Last Name: 981,000 So Small: 908,000 content.usatoday.com/communities/idolchatter/post/2010/12/chronicles-premiere-makes-carrie-underwood-theme-downloads-triple/1A month later having had Christmas sales/ Holiday Sales, Gift card redemptions, etc... I'd say "Last Name" is extremely close, probably within 10,000. "Just A Dream" and "So Small" are probably in the 920,000-940,000 range. However, eventually I see them all going platinum. By the end of 2011, I think the three listed above will be at, or VERY close to 1 million.

Definitely a much better trailer. However the random voiceover that came in at the end that you could barely hear over Firework was awful.
