April 2006 was its last week in the BB200, By August 2006 it was down to 2200 a week. It hasn't had much of a shelf life after its Billboard 200 run, it showed up on the catalog chart for 1 week in September 2007

It is quite possible that it wasn't a big seller once it slid down the chart

I don't save links, I have historically coded all data that shows up on the net into my own personal database.

Good luck, catalog charts with numbers were a rare occurence at that time. What I quoted was based on chart position

THANKS! That is very helpful. I was searching myself and managed to find the 01/04/2006 link where massacre is falling off the charts (took a while) but this is much more helpful.

Yeah.,only top 20 or even may be 40 albums.,but not the full Catalog 200.
We had full Catalog 200 chart last July. So it's not rare as you suggest.

Depends on your definition of "rare"

Full catalog charts used to show up once a quarter, now it is less than that.

Nowadays, the top portion of the catalog chart shows up every time we get the BB200. You just need to sift through it yourself and extract the titles.

If you want it bad enough you can probably do that yourself

Truth. That album leaked almost 2 full months before hitting stores, and it was a pathetic attempt at a rock album. Wayne failed because he tried to cross over to a new genre and was terrible at it, one of the worst albums I have ever heard (save for drop the world). Also that massive leak did not help things.

Kanye will definitely sell better than wayne if he gets his shit going. His album is set to drop in 8 weeks and that Runaway single is not taking off at all.

True.,.but lil wayne's album is not that bad to have such low sales considering his status. And Kanye too is still having that Swift effect.,so his status is badly damaged still. So I think he is not going to have new fans unless he produce a hit album. Not Swift's fans of course! But in a way he is quite courages to do such a thing in a mega event.
Still I think Michael Jackson's album will be the biggest lauch this year.
