Huh? Blame Billboard for determining who's #1 and inspiring any Rihanna/TB/Elvis comparisons--ones that apparently bring you such misery. And I never said anything about Mariah. lol Why should Billboard be blamed for who is #1? We the music public, buy the music and listen to it on the radio. Billboard is simply the data collector. 2m, if you say Billboard is just the "data collector", then why are you throwing around all of this sarcastic disbelief at them mentioning The Beatles or Elvis in the same sentences with artists like Rihanna, Mariah, and Ashanti? They're not reporting cultural impact and relevance. They're simply reporting data. I'm not sure what the big deal is.

I never said they did. I was emphasizing how these acts accomplished significant chart feats early in their careers and at a young age, which leads back to how these "comparisons" began in the first place here.

It's pretty clear what he was trying to say. LMAO. But I'll stay out of it. Carry on.

Why the sudden interest in rihanna and her #1s people stop compare her to mariah as #1 singles are hard to achieve now than it was 15 years ago. These times a song can be #1 1 week and then fall off because theres a new release this week on iTunes and takes it spot. The fact that she has so much #1 singles and almost all of them staying on top for multiple weeks is commendable. Stop comparing her to Mariah until Rihanna has like 12 #1s under her belt. THEN we can say shes truly coming to snatch her wig. Until then shes killing others in her generation with her hits. I can bet if this was another female artist you people wouldnt be so up in arms about it. let her have her success in peace. She earned it. BTW at Who's That Chick getting plays on radio already..... U MAD?

I hope Katy spends at least an official week at #1 in Airplay chart. Looks like Bruno has a shot of blocking her.

Does it matter at this point? Their first single turned out to be a decent hit and it still did nothing for the album. They might as well call it a day.

I think it's quite obvious their album's dunzo - but I kust want them to have another huge hit - 'cause let's face it, Apologize was their only true big hit, and you can't say it's totally theirs 'cause some say it's a Timbaland song... Their debut album is excellent and I just wish things would have been bigger for them the last previous around...
