HITS isn't projecting The Singles Collection to finish in the top 15? I had thought Jive stopped pressing physical copies of Greatest Hits: My Prerogative. If so, then The Singles Collection should see more sales action (even with GH: MP ranking higher on iTunes). After the Madonna "Glee" episode aired, the Celebration album re-entered at No. 86. The Singles Collection is selling less per week than what Celebration was selling before that episode aired, so it may see a larger percentage increase. I expect the Singles Collection to chart higher as well...the album was #24 on Amazon.com the other day, Target and Best Buy have the album for sale this week and is currently higher the GH:MP on iTunes.

Yeah, I don't know why they are pushing "No Love" as Eminem's next single. That song is not radio friendly in the least bit.

i think its wrong. he been selling about 30k a week. and he was above katy perry last week. his album hasnt been having big drops. why would he suddenly drop 8 postitions from 10 to 18. plus holidays are coming closer and hes one of those mileys, demis, etc that get the extra sales for the teenss

Choco, you think GH: My Prerogative is the better compilation? While it has the breezy and thoroughly enjoyable "Sometimes," other than that, it contains loads of throwaway non-stellar tracks- "Lucky," ""I'm Not a Girl...," "Overprotected," "Outrageous," "My Prerogative," "Do Somethin'," "(I've Just Begun)"... The Singles Collection would be stronger with "Break the Ice" on it rather than "Radar"- but, can't get it perfect. "Me Against the Music" and "Boys" aren't exactly stellar tracks, either- I would have replaced them with "Sometimes" asnd "Break the Ice," personally.
The Singles Collection logged 10 weeks on the Billboard 200. GH: MP was released when new compilations still were selling well in the USA, so it's not really fair to compare its performance to that of GH: MP.

^Among the lot of samey Max Martin tracks, they're the weakest. The Darkchild remix didn't really improve upon "Overprotected," either. "Oopos...i Did It Again" is a pretty interchangeable with "Baby One More Time," but it does have its own charm so I wouldn't label that throwaway.
I hope Kenny Chesney tops 200K.

I think that GH:MP is mostly better because it made some sense to release it (She was going to take a break, it had decent promotion, etc...)
Singles Collection was just a poorly managed excuse to make money, and while 3 was a big hit, it could have been just as huge if they released it as the lead single from another album.
And about Overprotected, it might be my favorite Britney song... I don't know, I do get what you say that it was just another Max Martin track, but I guess I felt connected with it... The original is miles better than the Darkchild mix too.
It does seem weird that they didn't make a Bieber prediction, because I think he will surely be between #10-15

Ya You must be mad re "Overprotected"- (the song is FIRE)
The song still works very well for me even today. Really liked the video and the remix as well.

When TSC was dropped, I remember wars going on about it...but yeah Break the ice is too underrated for me to bare. How could you call Overprotected throwaway? LOL. I still love it.

Well, thankfully in the long run Paramore achieved Gold... I'm not sure but I don't think Barbra made as much.

Carey ~505k.
Dunno about Streisand. Over 450k last I remember.

Short of 200K. Ah well.
Lil' Wayne's tally is impressive for digital-only, but it's not close to being a record for digital album sales.
