Speaking of, has anyone fully deciphered the lyrics in the second verse? Specifically the line right after 'clever, clever.' I have repeated that part so many times, I have even opened Audacity and slowed down the tempo and tried to extract the vocals to hear it better, but I just can't figure it out. I have finally settled on "I've platooned the things up so bad/that what you say will actually happen" - which actually makes sense in context to the topic of the song but it's such odd wording that I'm not convinced I'm right.

These are the lyrics I've typed by the way, a bit different from the ones that leaked right before the song did (italicized/underlined words are the ones I'm not sure about):

Not everyone is loving it. I don't hate it, but am hoping for better material on the album. For me, this song is just meh. Kind of same old, same old. Kelly is not only capable of so much better, she deserves better material. But then again, like I said a few pages back, I'm outside the demographic contemporary pop is marketed to, so am probably not the best judge of these things.

Edited to add that I wish Kelly could get material with meat on its bones. A few examples of what I mean include The Story (Brandi Carlisle), The Black Parade (My Chemical Romance), Boulevard of Broken Dreams (Green Day), Wake Me Up When September Ends (Green Day), and Kelly's own Because of You and Addicted.

Let Me Down is more like an appetizer than a meaty meal.

Thank you guys! I am going to go with "you're weak with indecision and I" and "I pretend that things aren't so bad" (wow, that makes SO much more sense...platooned, lol). Oh also, I notice I made one other mistake. In the bridge, I believe she is saying "worrying," not "waiting."

I think that this song is so good that it is going to blow up with or without RCA. They need to hop on the bandwagon that's already chugging down the road.

To be fair they are going through changes at the moment. I think they've done a horrible job picking the right songs to release for Kelly. Other than that I have few complaints with them. I wish Britney luck.

I can't tell either but.. Something about Kelly's forehead is just.. No... It could be fake.. Looks kinda fake and kinda real but.. Idk.. But the hairline and her forehead aren't lining up right.. Kelly didn't do lace fronts last I checked.... :X

Anyway, am I the only one who doesn't care for the very final part of the bridge? I like the big high note but then she yells those last few words with so much force but I can't stand it. I still have no clue what she says even though I asked and had it answered here, I can't remember and I can't make it out.

Thanks neally. Leaked UNOFFICIAL song. Hmmm...only way a song gets leaked is if it was:

a. Stolen
b. Intentionally released by the artist doing it anonymously
c. Intentionally released by someone the artist authorizes to do it anonymously

Obviously, we can't know what the actual situation is, but people who might want to steal Kelly's material know she already successfully assisted with the arrest and conviction of someone who stole/leaked material from her previously. In other words, if Kelly can, she'll get you if you steal from her. Just sayin...

And I LOVE the song! I don't get why they aren't just rush releasing it to radio/iTunes. That's what they did when Taylor's "Mine" leaked. Granted, it was only a couple weeks before it was officially going to be released. And we don't even know if LMD was even going to be Kelly's first single. I get the sense it was intentionally leaked to test how receptive radio stations/listeners would be for this type of sound. Many of the other leaks such as ICW, Naked Eye, and Dance, for example, are cohesive for an album. Otherwise, it makes no sense why this isn't being officially released to radio/iTunes.

I don't believe for one second that LMD was intentionally leaked. I don't think the situation is any different than the leaks from last year. I think the fact that clips of IFY and D+D=Y are out there supports this.

That concert lineup looks GREAT. I'm really happy to see Kelly be a part of such a big event.

A couple of posters on the Express suggested a fairly plausible theory for how the songs are leaking now - YMMV:

RCA isn't doing anything because the song is not the single. It was on a promo cd with other songs that has been going around for months. More songs will probably leak. RCA will release the single when they have chosen one and they are ready to promote it. The version being played on a few radio stations is obviously the leaked mp3.

I was told about the Promo CD too, but I don't know how reliable. It was apparently "Let Me Down", "I Forgive You", "Dumb", and something else on there? It was going around to record execs and stuff... But I also heard from a reliable source that LMD wasn't even in the running to be the first single. It was between two other songs.
