I'm not sure actually. I think it was registered on ASCAP after My December, but I think I remember reading fans mention it as a possible Breakaway reject. I know for sure she casually mentioned it at the start of the MD era though.

Getaway is pretty good. I'm not sure why it was left off the Breakaway album (if it's true that it's from that era). It's better than a song like "Where Is Your Heart" at least imo.

Effin' Briannechantal! I hate it when I need crazy people in my life. But I kind of have to have her in my life.

I'm loving Getaway. I may be going out on a limb with this, but if Getaway had been finished it could have been a single. It definitely sounds more MD than Breakaway. If Getaway was in fact written while working on Breakaway, I can see why it got left off. Something about it just doesn't fit that era's vibe. However, I can see Kelly liking it (and maybe other songs in that vein) and using that as her point of reference when she started working on MD.

Don't is OK, the live version is better but that tends to happen with Kelly. It is a really rough demo, for sure. It is still up on youtube, FYI.

If she leaks All I Know then I will bow to her for eternity.
