Thanks for posting the top gains daily; it's mostly what I scan for.
Someone asked about whether Mean will go T10. Based on last week, I think it'll just miss it.

Billboard.biz:
The Billboard Hot 100
-- Far*East Movement: The act holds at No. 1 for a second week on the Hot 100 with "Like a G6," which features Cataracs & the Dev, while reclaiming the top spot on Hot Digital Songs with 204,000 (down 9%), according to Nielsen SoundScan, its third cumulative week atop that list.
-- Taylor Swift: She makes a record-breaking arrival with the final single in the countdown to the release of her "Speak Now" album. After becoming the first artist in the 52-year history of the Billboard Hot 100 to post back-to-back top 10 debuts last week, Swift becomes the first act to claim the chart's top new entry (Hot Shot Debut) in three successive weeks as "Mean" starts at No. 11. Her new track arrives at No. 2 on Hot Digital Songs with 163,000 downloads. "Mean" follows the debuts of "Speak Now" (217,000) and "Back to December" (242,000), which started at No. 8 and No. 1 6, respectively, on the Hot 100.
-- Cee Lo: His "F**k You (Forget You)" stalls at No. 17 after opening with much fanfare attached to its YouTube viewership. While the song has moved more than 575,000 downloads since its release in August, it has yet to crack the top 10 of Hot Digital Songs, reaching a high of No. 11 this week, though down 1% (88,000). Radio support, which started strongly, waned quickly as the song peaked last month at No. 46 on Hot 100 Airplay in just its fourth week on the list. The song's not-so-subtle wordplay was perhaps too risqué for radio programmers to spin during the morning and daytime, when more "F**k You"-averse older audiences tune in. For example, 59% of the song's mainstream top 40 airplay in the past seven days (Oct. 20-26) occurred between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., according to Nielsen BDS. Just 23% was logged in morning drive and mid-days (6 a.m. to 3 p.m.), which garners a greater audience than the night time and overnight shifts.
-- Katy Perry: "Firework," the third single from "Teenage Dream," makes its way to the radio airwaves, debuting at No. 29 on Mainstream Top 40. With top 40 radio continuing to be a noticeable driver of digital sales, downloads subsequently explode by 133% to 20,000.
-- Willow: Will Smith's daughter debuts at No. 78 with "Whip My Hair." She is his second offspring to enter the Hot 100 this year, as son Jaden teamed up with Justin Bieber on "Never Say Never," which hit No. 33 in June. Papa Smith was last on the list in 2005 when "Switch" hit No. 7. Willow's song should make a huge jump next week as the single hit digital retailers on Oct. 26.

A week of no "Glee" debuts (as last week was a rerun)- will any of the Rocky Horror tracks even debut next week?
Hannah Montana manages a return to the Hot 100 (with one of the worst tracks I heard after listening to the snippets).

Wow, David Guetta/Kid Cudi's "Memories" jumps another 9 spots to 64 on the Hot 100... and I have STILL yet to see it in the itunes top 100?? I just don't get it, the airplay isn't even all that huge. According to the updates here, it's at 18.375 in airplay audience. However, Lifehouse is just below it with 17.853 and hasn't even debuted on the Hot 100.
Am I missing something here? How is there such a huge gap with no sales? Even if Lifehouse was bubbling under at 101, it still doesn't explain why there is an almost 40 position gap in between both songs. I'm not complaining about it - I'm just curious where "Memories" is getting its Hot 100 position from?

If he does have problems/issues, the reality is they will still be there. It ain't no yellow brick road, full of rainbows, etc. Good luck, just be realistic.

Hmmm, even #112 at Amazon isn't that great - even for a #64 position on the hot 100. Is the airplay really that strong I guess...

WOW!! The chart is really interesting, except for the Top 10, which is as stagnant as ever. At least G6 got a 2nd week at #1.
Also, at least Shakira has enough of a fanbase to keep making Top 40 hits on downloads alone. I'm also surprised to see "Waka Waka" still on the chart. It has had impressive longevity considering the relatively low peak and being the FIFA song.

I think Shakira has too broad a name recognition to just "crash and burn", and she can easily make a major commercial comeback. The problem most recently is that she released an English record that tried too hard to be sexy for the sake of being sex when Shakira is already naturally, well, sexy..........and then she released a very accessible record here that nonetheless is Spanish and doesn't really have anything that can conquer English-language radio.
