^Once the holidays are over, sales of holiday albums collapse, for understandable reasons. I believe that most stores do take the CDs out of stock. Though online and at iTunes, they're available all year round (I think, anyhow).

Mimi, Katharine, and SuBo better capitalize on the xmas season, cuz once January hits, sales will plummet regardless of any quality.

thats true last year susans album wasnt an xmas album so it continued to sell well thru january and the rest of the year, this album wont be so fortunate.

Does someone actually think Katharine McPhee's holiday album will sell? I don't think so. It might reach a new high and probably chart on the BB200, but it won't reach any remarkable level. With Boyle and the other bigger Christmas albums, I don't think people will spend their money on McPhee's album.

With Boyle and the other bigger Christmas albums, I don't think people will spend their money on McPhee's album. no, her career is basically over. the only way this album would sell is if idol actually aired during the xmas season, and she was given a performance slot. hopefully it can chart on the hot 200, thats my goal for it
