Does "All I Know" count? Don't think it's officially gone for adds.

Does "All I Know" count? Don't think it's officially gone for adds. Well it is on some stations (I think) and is getting played currently, and if it is actually released as a single in the U.S., I'll count it for now. But I'm not sure.

Does "All I Know" count? Don't think it's officially gone for adds. Well it is on some stations (I think) and is getting played currently, and if it is actually released as a single in the U.S., I'll count it for now. But I'm not sure. Music Choice pretty much plays every single that goes for adds. It does play some album tracks, but doesn't put them into rotation. While this was never listed with FMQB, nearly was "Set Fire To The Hive", but given at one point it was being tested on about 20 active rock stations, it was clearly pushed as the lead single. I don't really love that song, so it would never make this countdown for me. Now, watching Music Choice, it seems like "All I know" gets played on their active rock channel 4 or 5 times a day. I see it as much as any other song that they have in rotation. "Set Fire To The Hive" was also played a similar amount on Music Choice Rock before Sirius Octane added it a couple of months later in addition to a handful of other stations. I think it is the next (ie current) single in the US, but getting additional adds to Music Choice will happen gradually and infrequently. It's kind of a similar case with Silversun Pickups - "Growing Old Is Getting Old" which is played on Music Choice Alternative, and is technically their current single, only it never went for adds and is getting very little airplay on other stations. Granted Silversun Pickups is a radio band on a 4th single, so the comparison only holds between the two singles, not the bands' situations.

2 more hours to vote! Although I don't think there are many other people left to vote this week. Artie never, but that's understandable. Anyone else?

I am introducing the carryover rule this week, much like Az's countdown on the CHR section. [/li][li]If a voter does not vote for the current week, but voted last week, his/her vote will be "carried over" to the current week. [/li][li]If a voter voted 2 weeks ago, and hasn't voted for two weeks, his/her will still be "carried over." [/li][li]If a voter voter 3+ weeks ago, and hasn't voted in 3+ weeks, his/her vote will not be counted for.

I hope everyone is happy with that new rule. But I do encourage you to vote every week, for in case you decide to change a song but you are too lazy to do so!

Why is "Ready to Start" on the recurrent/purged list? It was #31 last week on the Alternative chart. And "Na Na Na" was purged on Sunday.

I guess I'll vote now:
1. Karnivool - All I Know 2. Deftones - You've Seen The Butcher 3. Middle Class Rut - New Low 4. Mumford & Sons - Little Lion Man 5. Jimmy Eat World - My Best Theory
I'm still rooting for "Isolation", but I think I need a break from them after spinning their album a few too many times on my Northeast road trip last week.

Fader-The Temper Trap I'm actually pretty sure Ray LaMontage and Alpha Rev don't count (no add dates, not a lot of significant airplay). Will someone prove me wrong?

Maybe not Alpha Rev but "Beg Steal or Borrow" hit #1 on AAA. Oh, well I'm sorry, I don't follow the Triple A chart, though I should since I include it on this chart, shouldn't I? Oh well pick another one besides Alpha Rev.

In spite me missing one week, it seems as though my entries all have suffered from the fact.
I'll contribute when I hear more current songs this week.
