I can't compete with y'all though, lol. Dead Inside holds the record (4 weeks), and my songs only last like 20 weeks or so on my chart to make way for new songs.

For my chart, Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" holds the unofficial record for most weeks at #1, with at least 18 weeks (7 official, since I only started the charts on March 18th, 2012, but the previous weeks of 2012 would have belonged to it as well). As for official, Mumford & Sons' "I Will Wait" holds the record with 13 non-consecutive weeks at number-one, starting from August 26th, 2012 to February 3rd, 2013.

These kinds of personal chart discussions always fascinate me. It's always interesting to see how others run their charts. And my charts, when I first started doing weekly charts, were just like yours, Daryl. It was rare for a song to even get more than four weeks at the top of my charts, let alone 10+, and songs staying on my chart for more than 20 weeks was extremely rare. I totally get where you're coming from.

Fun fact: In the (nearly) eight years I've been doing a regularly updated weekly chart, I've had two songs reach the ten-week mark at #1 ("Under the Pressure" with 11, "Madness" with 10). That's an average of one every four years.

My chart runs are typically pretty quick, my chart just finished up its 94th consecutive week and I haven't had a song with over 6 weeks at #1.

Though with Trip Switch's perfect timing at getting the OTV deal a week after hitting #1 on my chart that could change soon....

Don't think I'll ever beat cm7com's record, and 10 weeks at #1 seems like something I'd never have on my chart either. I guess time will tell.

This week marks week #11 for "Molecules" at the top of my chart. It's not a hard task for a song when you know it's your favorite of the year, the very first time you hear it. and though week #12 could be a possibility; anything after that looks bleak with "Let's Go" already pushing itself to #2 ;after only it's 9th week on my chart. The only new entry in the top 10 is "Lemon Eyes" by Meg Myers and though "Sorry" peaked just outside my top 10; I felt it was time to give her ;her first top 10 on my chart. The song, like most of my top 10 songs, has very powerful vocals, so it should very easily; go top 5 in the coming weeks. The two debuts on my chart are also vid spotlights. First is "Victorious" from Panic! At The Disco. It's taking me a while to grow into it, but Uri's vocals ultimatley, have won me over. Debut #2 is the newest from The Wombats. It's a catchy uptempo number titled "Give Me A Try". The Wombats have had 3 top singles on my chart. "Your Body Is A Weapon", "Tokyo (Vampiers and Wolves)" and the highest charting single; "1996" which peaked at #3 for 6 straight weeks. The other two video spotlights go to Disturbed ; for thier inspiring new vid for "The Light" and the one I just can't get enough of "Love Me" by The 1975.The debuts in Green, Significant moves in Blue , and song's peak in () .

Just as "Our Own House" is arriving to it's peak; I felt it's time to add "Imagination Infatuation". I dare say it's even better than "Our Own House". Finally ;and this one is a keeper that's blasting on all charts across the board. It's "Trip Switch" from the band; Nothing But Thieves. It's exactly the type of music Alt radio should be playing.

Yes, "Feelings" flopped harder than "This Summer...". It peaked at like #27 on the CHR chart.
