I'd say the U.S. views would be closer to 25% or so of the total. Mimi and Ariana have a decent international following, so keep that in mind. Also- YouTube adjusts the numbers one the week closes, so the figure is usually less than what shows after seven days. For Dec. 4, OS was No. 6 on U.S. YouTube, though it looks like that includes UGC, along with any other official "Oh Santa!" videos (such as the original).
If the original is merged with the new version,. will Billboard treat it as a re-entry? if so, its points would have to be enough to rank in the top 50 of the Hot 100 (which, with sales and streaming, sound plausible).
Second-day Spotify numbers were 836,138 (+53,361), for a global come of 1.618,915.

Zero playlisting (not even on New Music Friday), this not appearing on Ari and JHud’s pages, etc. But then again, this is an Apple Music exclusive so it was to be expected considering Spotify’s history with shadiness when exclusives happen. |

Well, I barely see any holiday songs getting spots on the main playlists around, so I wasn't expecting that to happen. Watched the vid twice and...I just don’t like this song much. I also wish they had let JHud go off with some vocals. She seems like such an afterthought, especially when the whistle harmony comes in.
That harmony, though, is genius—both in its technical prowess but also in its insta-viral delivery, featuring the known and noted masters of the whistle register. It’s just so f**king cool.
