So, with the sales we know and Mediabase, we've got (keeping in mind it seems BDS is usually higher): Pink: 160 + 83 = 243 Ke$ha: 191 + 43 = 234 Glee: 214 Rihanna (WMN): 152 + 57 = 209 Katy: 161 + 43 = 204 BEP: 170 + 15 = 185 Rihanna (OG): 114 + ? (needs 130k for #1) Bruno Mars: 140 + ? (needs 104k for #1) Nelly: 109 + ? (needs 135k for #1) FEM: 103 + ? (needs 141k for #1) It's a real toss-up! Don't forget about streaming. I really think that may be the deciding factor. G6 does not need to be #1 again. I'm liking this high turnover rate of #1's we've been experiencing lately.

I really hope P!nk or Rihanna nab the top spot this week, and hopefully Ke$ha can reclaim it next week. Kinda want Katy to squeeze in a week, hopefully after the AMAs (that is if she can actually sing Firework on key this time around)

So TD will not pass DSB as the highest charting song of Glee Cast? Interesting ... I envision the final episode of this series would have a song at #1 on Hot 100.

Go Like a G6. I don't like turnover when it means that songs I think are terrible get to #1. Which would be songs that have succeeded Like a G6 and the main possibilities of newly getting #1 soon.

I thought we don't get the digital chart anymore? Don't we have to wait til Thursdays to find out now?
Anyway, Bruno will probably end up with the #1. He's in a much better position that "Only Girl" is.

IKR? I really hope Rihanna gets her 4th #1 this year :'( At this point I'm pretty sure it's happened! 9 #1's and only 22 years old George Harrison had 11 #1's with the Beatles when he was only 22 years old.

^True, but that's another animal. ;)
Rihanna's singles chart showing has been great- but her lack of No. 1 albums also is interesting. Ask Billboard had a question regarding acts with a lot of No. 1 singles but no No. 1 albums.

Who was the first female artist to replace herself from #1, not as a lead artist? Ashanti? I though she's the first female to occupy top 2 spots not as a lead artist?

Billboard.com:
"Glee's" cover of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" was the top selling song in the U.S. last week, as it'll debut at No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart with 214,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It marks the ensemble's first No. 1 and biggest sales week yet. Previously, the cast's best week came when its first single, "Don't Stop Believin'," debuted at No. 2 with 177,000 (June 6, 2009).
"Teenage Dream," with lead vocals by newly-signed cast member Darren Criss, is sure to make a splashy bow on the Billboard Hot 100 chart once it is unveiled tomorrow (18). So far, "Glee's" best rank on the Hot 100 is also owned by "Don't," which hit No. 4.
Last week's No. 1 on Digital Songs, Rihanna's "What's My Name?" (featuring Drake), slides to No. 6 with 152,000 (down 35%). Ke$ha's "We R Who We R" holds at No. 2 (191,000; down 14%) and the Black Eyed Peas' "The Time (Dirty Bit)" debuts at No. 3 (170,000). The aforementioned Perry sees her new single "Firework" spark up two slots to No. 4 (161,000; up 11%), while P!nk's "Raise Your Glass" slips one spot to No. 5 (160,000; up less than 1%).
