Pink is gonna have some dancers from the Funhouse tour with her, so even if she doesn`t do something crazy, there will be enough to the performance. And RYG is increasing on Itunes this week. If we forget about the Glee songs, she would be number 3. With 2 other versions, that would put her close to Firework. I`d say she sells 150-160, while Rihanna will most likely lose some sales. Rihanna will probably have a slight increase in sales actually since the second version is doing pretty well.

OG will lose sales because of Complete My Album. I'm giving it to RYG (i doubt many people are going to be completing their album for GH...SF) How will she lose sales because of the "Complete My Album"? She'll have two songs charting = Higher sales ??? lol I think Pick will get it though.

Technically speaking, she doesn't really lose sales if that person has already bought it. If you want to buy the song again, you can anyway.

Has soundscan done away with the muliple sales by one person rule? I'm assuming you can buy a different version or, of course, go to Amazon. BTW -- RiRi's bank account thanks you.

I just bought another copy of OG. Y'all better hurry and do the same it's just $0.99. That's a cheap price for the excitement we would get next week if she gets the top spot and her NINTH #1!!!

^Too funny. That extra copy will come in handy on your computer, I;m sure. :)
SoundScan never had a rule, per se, about multiple copies. Physical singles are one thing, perhaps- they're tangible items. But to buy multiple copies of a download?

If I want multiple copies of the same download, I usually buy one and than I usually find copy+paste works much better and cheaper

I'm not greedy what's $0.99? ???
Plus, if it's true that the "Complete My Album" thing takes away from the sales of OG, I'd rather be safe knowing I'm still supporting both.

It's still not that much ;)
And actually, no. The whole album was $9.99 with 12 tracks and a video. Which means the other copy I bought was under $0.99.

I think the diva in your avatar would have her entire head snatched off by Pink. Lol bitter much... Why Bring Lele into this. I actually like Rihanna, have all her albums, just speaking the truth. I like Ke$ha, I was also speaking the truth ;)

Looks like RYG is the front-runner for #1 this week, with a possibility for OG again.

What other new Christmas songs do you see burning up the charts right now? Give it til December and let's see how it's doing. It's about to enter the top 40 on AC radio which is a good sign of things to come.

The bottom of AC radio doesn't require many spins to get there, though.
I can't imagine anyone expected "Oh Santa" to compete with AIWFCIY. Of course its airplay is going to rise some come Thanksgiving, but I don't expect it to come anywhere near AIWFCIY's level (which is usually 40m+ at its peak). Radio will opt more for the classic track over a new Mimi recording.

i think the vast majority of Mimi fans, myself included, thought it would be somewhat close between the two. This is a blowout so far.

^Well, I'm sure a lot HOPED that would be the case. But, realistically, it wasn't likely. I maintain that if OS peaks at half the airplay AIWFCIY gets, that would be a decent showing. But, it may struggle to get even there. There's so much holiday music out there, that it's tough for a new track to catch on big (especially if by an act who already has a perennial holiday hit). Throw in that Mimi is not at her commercial peak, and that makes it more challenging for a new track.
BEP is chugging up, but it's not looking like it will reach heights enjoyed by "Boom Boom Pow" and' "I Gotta Feeling."

Going back a page, neither P!nk nor Rihanna will get any significant effects (if any) from the AMA's since it airs late Sunday night and sales tracking ends shortly after the show. Funny how no-one mentioned that throughout all the bickering. That said the #1 next week really is down to RYG and OG. RYG has FEM topped in digital sales by quite a bit and should be within 10 points reach of it in AI by Wednesday while OG has FEM topped in both digital sales and airplay but it all depends whether P!nk's lead on iTunes is greater than her lead in AI.

Well it will definitely affect song's for the week after but not that significantly for the upcoming chart. The show starts at about 9 or 10pm so unless they're performing early on in the show then it won't really leave that much time to rack up a significant amount of sales that night before sales tracking ends (midnight)
