The 3rd single is "Lightning". It will be released on October 31 in the UK. The previous singles released in the UK were "Gold Forever" and "Glad You Came." The UK edition of the album is available for pre-order. It will be release on November 7. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005AEQX0C/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=islandcouk-21&linkCode=as2&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B005AEQX0CTracklisting: 1. Invincible 2. Lady Lady 3. Gold Forever 4. Warzone 5. Push 6. Lightening 7. Let Me Save You 8. Mad Men 9. Lie To Me 10. Glad You Came 11. Forever No word on a U.S. release at this time. In terms of the U.S., here is what has happened in case you haven't been following the news. "All Time Low" was given an adds date on CHR/Pop but was inexplicably pulled. It charted on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart for a bit. "Glad You Came" had an adds date for September 20.

The album is called Battleground.
Final tracklisting: 1. "Glad You Came" 2. "Lightning" 3. "Warzone" 4. "Invincible" 5. "Last to Know" 6. "I'll Be Your Strength" 7. "Rocket" 8. "I Want It All" 9. "The Weekend" 10. "Lie To Me" 11. "Gold Forever"
Deluxe Edition bonus tracks: 12. "Dagger" 13. "Rock Your Body" 14. "Turn It Off" 15. "Where I Belong"
I heard the standard edition of the album and I really love it! It felt like it was over just too quickly.
There's still no word on if a U.S. release will happen at the same time as the UK one.

I was underwhelmed by the album to be honest... though I do like many of the songs, they never compare to "Glad You Came"...
apart from that, I would've released "Rocket" instead of "Warzone"

The Wanted + Bieber's Manager = WORLD DOMINATIONThe Wanted: Is Another British Pop Invasion On The Way? Could The Wanted usher in a new wave of British pop to American shores? The five-piece male U.K. vocal group -- which has notched five top five singles on the Official U.K. Singles chart and a pair of top five albums -- is taking a serious stab at U.S. stardom. The Wanted made its American TV debut on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Jan. 10 and appears to be a priority for Mercury Records. How serious? Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber's manager, has been recruited as the Wanted's U.S. manager. Though the United Kingdom is rife with pop acts that seem perfect for American audiences, few ever successfully cross the pond. There isn't one simple reason why British acts fizzle in the States, but one could count on two hands the number of U.K. imports that have gone largely unnoticed in the past decade. That's why the commitment from Mercury to the Wanted, along with the enlistment of Braun, is notable. The group will head out on the road for a U.S. club tour beginning Jan. 17 in Orlando, Fla., at the Social. The quick 10-date jaunt will wrap at the Roxy in Los Angeles on Feb. 8. The Wanted's Tour Schedule: Jan. 17 - The Social - Orlando, Fla Jan. 20 - Rock 'N Roll Hotel - Washington, D.C. Jan. 22 - Irving Plaza - New York Jan. 24 - Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia Jan. 26 - Bottom Lounge - Chicago Jan. 27 - Fine Line - Minneapolis Jan. 31 - Prophet Bar - Dallas Feb. 2 - Club Sound - Salt Lake City Feb. 7 - House of Blues - San Diego Feb. 8 - The Roxy - Los Angeles While touring, the band is also scheduled to make appearances at gay clubs and high schools. While details on the latter are still being ironed out, the group will hit at least four gay venues including Town Nightclub in Washington D.C. (Jan. 20), Splash in New York (Jan. 21), Roscoe's in Chicago (Jan. 26) and Saloon in Minneapolis (Jan. 27). A visit to a Los Angeles-area gay night spot was in the works at press time. The gay clubs-and-high school trek shouldn't be surprising. It's no secret that many pop vocal groups' core audiences are teen girls and gay men. In the United Kingdom, many pop acts devote substantial promotional attention to their gay fans and it's standard practice for them to make appearances at gay clubs and grace the covers and front pages of popular LGBT magazines and websites. The Wanted's current U.S. single, "Glad You Came," is lifted from its most recent U.K. album, Battleground, which hit No. 5 on the U.K. Albums Chart. "Glad"-a former No. 1 U.K. hit-is making inroads on U.S. radio and has already seen a jump in sales thanks to the group's "Ellen" performance. The five piece act (Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes) may see "Glad You Came" debut as early as next week on the Mainstream Top 40 airplay tally. "Glad" previously peaked at No. 31 on the Dance Club Songs chart on Nov. 19, 2011, while a previous club tune, "All Time Low," reached No. 19 on Aug. 27. "Glad" has received a national push by SiriusXM's Hits 1 top 40 channel where it's been played more than 500 times, according to Nielsen BDS, since September. On terrestrial radio, WXRK (92.3 Now) New York leads the way in total plays with 400 since October, including 42 in the seven days ending Jan. 11. Label sources say that sales of "Glad" shot through the roof the day of the "Ellen" gig-moving from a couple hundred downloads to more than 5,000. That's pretty handsome, considering it sold 7,000 downloads in the week ending Jan. 8. While a release date for the Wanted's debut U.S. album isn't confirmed yet, perhaps the building momentum of "Glad" could help firm up a street date sooner than later. ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/65767190.html The Wanted duet with Rihanna: Jealousy The Wanted band announces that they gonna release the Repacked Edition of its latest album “Battleground”, with some unreleased tracks which got left in previous release and some new tracks with a new duet, “Jealousy”, with Barbadian singer Rihanna. The album will also include a further new track, “Chasing the Sun”, written for the band by rapper Example. The Repacked Edition will come out 2012. One of UK's hottest boybands The Wanted have announced that they will release a repacked edition of their latest album "Battleground", which features a duet called "Jealousy" featuring Rihanna! The repacked edition will be released in 2012. When first announced for sale, the tracklisting for "Battleground" included seven tracks do not appear on the final tracklisting of the album. As such, these tracks went unreleased. The Wanted announced that a repackaged version of the album will be issued in 2012, containing the seven unreleased tracks, plus a new duet, "Jealousy", with Barbadian singer Rihanna. The album will also include a further new track, "Chasing the Sun", written for the band by rapper Example. Jealousy is written by Steve Mac, Robyn 'Rhianna' Fenty & RedOne and produced by RedOne. The Wanted talked about the new songs on the UK show 'Something For the Weekend' this past Sunday. here's the link for the interview: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GJGC(from ATRL)

Instead of just releasing their album from the UK as it was before or making a version just for the U.S., they have decided to release an EP instead. Perhaps they are opting to record a new album to release both stateside and internationally. The EP will be released on April 24, 2012. STANDARD VERSION 01 Glad You Came 02 Chasing The Sun 03 All Time Low 04 Satellite 05 Lightning 06 Heart Vacancy 07 Gold Forever DELUXE VERSION 01 Glad You Came 02 Chasing The Sun 03 All Time Low 04 Satellite 05 Lightning 06 Heart Vacancy 07 Gold Forever 08 Lose My Mind 09 Warzone 10 Rocket Source for the tracklistingThey also have not mentioned whether the version of "All Time Low" is the original album version that was released last year or if it's the U.S. single version from when they tried that as a single here. Either way, I am planning to purchase this.

I'm very upset at the tracklist.. I will not be purchasing this. They left off some of their best songs..
This would've been my ideal tracklist, and will be MY US album playlist..

They're releasing an EP instead? Aww... :(
I guess I'll get the deluxe edition since there are more songs on it. Hopefully, their newly recorded album will be coming soon after. I just may check out their UK albums while I'm at it.

I just hope they do not do the thing where they do different tracklistings for the U.S. and UK. It gets really messy and expensive.

I wonder if it's a bad thing that a male twenty-something is interested in these boybands (OD is an exception) because I'm really looking forward to this release.

So what they have out now is an ep? They are releasing an EP in the US as an introduction to the band with songs from both of their albums and new songs, and I'm pretty sure they are re-releasing Battleground with the new added songs in the UK.. Then they are going to probably release their next new album worldwide instead of different EP's/albums.

So they're breaking out with a #1 Pop hit NOW and there's not going to be an album release for another half a year or more? Who's to say they'll even get another hit here? Sounds like a horrible plan from a business perspective.

They were supposed to do a re-release of their album in the UK with additional songs but it seems they have abandoned that.

So by the time the EP comes out on April 24th, 6 out of the 7 songs on the standard EP will already be on iTunes? I don't get the thought process behind that.
