LMAO. The song is literally all over the place it sounds like "Don't Cha" by PCD during some parts but this jams. BTW I wonder if The Runners sampled "Don't Cha" on those parts. I think she appeals more to the U.S. than she does to the UK.

I like it. Dunno how it'll do though, I've seen many bad comments so far.

Two things:
1) The version leaked was only a demo.
2) According to Perez, the first U.S. single is gonna be a Max Martin produced track.

Why? "Swagger Jagger" is amazing. #DNW a generic Max Martin song

It's not as AWFUL as everyone's saying, which is kind of disappointing. It's just exactly what I expected, but nowhere near as bad, which takes away any potential to be interesting.

I'm neutral to her personally, but I feel a bit bad for her getting slammed because if Ke$ha put out this exact song it would smash. But then, do we really need a Ke$ha clone? That's the real problem here, not the song itself. The lyrics are silly as hell and "Swagger Jagger" makes no sense as a phrase (it should probably be "Jagger Swagger") but it's melodic and catchy like herpes.

That song is horrible and that doesn't even look like her in the video. She much prettier without the wigs.

The video was so....Cheryl at parts. Some of her facial expressions were the exact same expression from the Minaj 'Check It Out' video. It was fun though. I think Cher is okay and all but IDK something about her seems so off in comparison to the other girls. She stood out on the X-Factor, and I think it's good that they finally found somebody that may have star potential, but when you throw her out into the real world you really see that she may have just been a big fish in a small pond on X-Factor. We'll see.

The whole Nicki Minaj meets LMFAO sound of "Swagger Jagger" has a lot of potential, but she kills it off with the nursery rhyme chorus. If this isn't her "real" first single, I'm not too disappointed. I think the video is fine though. She definitely has star potential.

Yeah, aside from the chorus it's really not bad. The lyrics are horrible the whole way through, but that's hardly an issue with regards to it becoming a hit.

CONFIRMED PRODUCERS:
- RedOne - Kevin Rudolf - Max Martin - Will.I.Am - Naughty Boy ( - The Runners - JukeBox (a.k.a. the guys who produced Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair")
Anyone knows who's that "Naughty Boy"?

I love the video and the song is really catchy, I hate the chorus, but the verses are good. Loving the beat, has a 'Pon De Floor' quality to it

We'll see. Yeah, in some of the face shots she really looked a lot like Cheryl in the Fight For This Love video. I think right now she is full of potential, but not completely developed, particularly in her stage presence (often the case with young contestants on singing shows, and rarely does anyone take the time to 'polish' them off before throwing them into the real world). And I still sense that bit of fear in her. When I watched some of her X-Factor vids I always thought there was something about her that came off stiff and/or too scared to really let loose on the stage. If she can just get over that fear she will be fine. RedOne, Max and The Runners?....She won't be able to flop. Yeah, between that and the video (which just LOOKS like $$$) they're clearly too invested in her to let her fail. Are they going to try to break her into the US simultaneously? For some reason I can actually see SJ taking off over here sooner than it would in the UK.

^ According to Perez they are, but they don't know wich will be the first single. Is either SJ or a Max Martin track.

Two new Cher's songs have hit the web. The first one is called "Superhero", and was premiered exclusively to Perez Hilton with an acoustic performance. I hear a summer smash right there:
The second one a demo for a song called "Dub On The Track", which features a rapper who I have yet to identify. It leaked yesterday, and the word is that its not going to be in Cher's album, but it's going to be some sort of "promo download":

Cher performed on the T4 On The Beach festival today, where she looked extremely nervous, but sounded great. Example also performed, and he apologized to Cher for bashing her on twitter. Here's the video:
In less pleasant news, there's quite a lot of drama going on with her record, since it has been revealed that the main reason for pushing it back from August to November is that Will.I.Am is not answering to Cher's camp, refusing to send her the songs he produced for her. The reason for this is that he doesn't want to work with Syco after the Simon/Cheryl drama. Cher is set to get in the studio again to lay vocals in some new tracks because of that, and Example is rumoured to be producing a track for her.

Cheryl should really step up and fix this whole situation. She was Cher's mentor for God's sake, I know she probably didn't tell will.i.am to do this, but still, it kinda makes her look bad. The issue is between her and Simon, she should - and I hope she does - tell will.i.am to suck it up and to stop trying to ruin Cher because of Simon

I think it's supposed to be "swagger jacker" (Jackin' my swag!) Why has no one pointed out that the melody of the chorus is IDENTICAL to "My Darling Clementine?"
