^ It's funny that Crazy Town is a one-hit wonder band. And that one-hit wonder sucked really bad

Crazy Town's 2nd album was much better than the first. Drowning and Change are both NICE songs.

The singer for the tour was Daniel Murillo, formerly of Lorene Drive. Also, I'm quoting your Crazy Town mention too in order to ask, did you know that Crazy Town has reformed and they're going to release a new album through Suburban Noize? Oh. That doesn't ring a bell at all. I was thinking it was someone slightly more famous than that. I wanted to say someone from, like, Comeback Kid or Haste the Day, even. I did know that, actually. I read, like, a year or two ago that they'd reformed. They had a couple new songs on their MySpace. And if I ever knew they were signed to Suburban Noize, clearly I must've tried to block that out. It does make sense, though, in all honesty. ^ It's funny that Crazy Town is a one-hit wonder band. And that one-hit wonder sucked really bad No, it's not funny, actually. It's a shame, because they had some really good songs. What's funny is that people have very different opinions. It was brilliant that one of them (probably DJ AM) was listening to the Chili Peppers' "Pretty Little Ditty" at some point and heard a passage that they could turn into this gorgeous, serene loop, put a hard hip hop beat on top of it and turn it into a love song of sorts. I wish AM had taken the whole passage and not just half of it, as I've always suspected that the subtle variation would've added to the song. The first album had some great songs, but a lot of filler. It definitely had promise, though. The second album, while not having any great songs other than "Drowning" (which seemed very much like the label's hand was pushing them to be more like Linkin Park), was overall more consistent, however. If they toured and came to town, I'd go see them, but I'm afraid of who else would turn up. A lot of shut-in, diehard nu-metal fans, a ton of skeezy strippers, and their Affliction-wearing douchebag boyfriends. I'd definitely have the most intellectual curiosity of anybody in the room.

"Drowning" is the only song of theirs I could stand, actually. No suprises to hear that they've signed with Surburban Noize. They fit alongside HED PE, Kottonmouth Kings & OPM quite nicely. I was suprised to hear that they'd snapped up Unwritten Law, however. That one doesn't seem like a natural fit. I look forward to hearing what they have to offer on their upcoming full-length, nonetheless.

Honestly, Suburban's been making great choices lately as to their signings.

Undead's debut didn't suck. Sure, it wasn't very mature -- but it was fun party music if nothing else.

Considering all the music you diss on here (even though I agree with you on a lot of the music you like and dislike), are you really now going to defend this? Next time you say something anybody likes sucks, they're going to remind you that you defended Hollywood Undead. Ouch.

I think the Cannibal in his new name is grounds enough for immediate opinion dismissal.

Alright, I'm gonna confess, that was halfway decent. Kind of an old school Linkin Park clone.

I like to party, I like to drink, and I like to listen to not "intelligent" music while I do so. This song will fit in fine with my music mixes for parties. I'm not defending Hollywood Undead's albums as quality music -- but it's fun mood music. Take it for what it is and nothing more. Would I much rather take a Chevelle album with me to a desert island -- if I could only take one album -- than a Hollywood Undead or, for that matter, Ke$ha album? Yes of course, I would take the Chevelle with me. Would I rather listen to a Chevelle album or this song when I'm chillin at 1 a.m.? I'd rather listen to this.

This isn't what I was expecting. I like it a lot, actually. It's up there with "Undead".

I don't think this appeals to either format, really. They might be suffering from Framing Hanley syndrome. Also, Deuce wins the vocal battle for me. This guy has a typical whiny emo voice.

^ Agreed on that last note, although it's good enough for now. They should find a new better singer. I think this sounds like "Lying From You" (Linkin Park) x "Young" (HU), which should do fine on both formats. The only thing that might turn off radio from this is the electro in it and the rapping, but that shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah, it's a good song. They should still bring Shady Jeff back though ;)

Kinda surprised that they produced a half-way decent rock song. I think with a different vocalist and a few years of maturity they could possibly make something of themselves.

Yeah.... This is so commercialized and smoothed out it makes for unpleasant listening. It's clean-cut, boring emo-pop-rap.

That has to count for something. No way is this better than "Undead". At least that had a decent nu-metal edge to it. This is just boring.
