I think she can get at least 2 #1 Hot 100 hits this era, 4 singles all together and I'm gonna say they can all go Top 10 if she promotes and doesn't release Radar again.lmfao, but seriously, I hope she can finally break the spell and get a smash 4th single in the US. I also hope that this date isn't true. Why would you not want to capitalize on all those itunes gift cards?

It is pretty weird that she's never had a successful fourth single (although it could be argued that 'FTBOMBH' was a minor hit - it did reach the Top 20 on both CHR and the Hot 100). Hopefully she breaks that curse this era.

Hopefully she breaks that curse this era. I'd never thought of that. It seems like she could and should have with her last three albums, but singles just haven't been released in a way to allow for it.

Yeah, it's about time Britney has another extended era. Circus could've easily had a hit 4th single had there not been contractual obligations to release 'Radar'.

Was it ever confirmed there were contractual obligations for "Radar"?

I think the problem with Radar was that by its release it sounded too similar to the rest of the singles she had released. I know most fans won't agree, but Radar, WOmanizer, even Amy to a certain extent sort of started to blend. They weren't the same song, but the sound/lyrics/delivery were fairly similar. I am hoping she shows more variety with this new cd. I enjoyed Circus for what it was, but thought Blackout and some of her other cds showed more variety and that she can do different types of songs and still do well with them. I have a feeling I will enjoy this cd even more than Circus since I think Circus played it a wee bit safe at points being her true comeback cd. Now that she is back back she can experiment and play a bit. Should be interesting. I also hear that Beyonce is releasing soon so it is crazy for me to have Britney, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Avril all emerging at similar times with KEsha/Rihanna/Katy finishing up second halves of eras as well. dont forget miss clarkson :)

As much as I wanted Unusual you...it wasn't gonna happen. Shattered Glass would have slayed and realistically would have been chosen before my next choice Mannequin...the rest don't matter. ;)

Was it ever confirmed there were contractual obligations for "Radar"? I think it was just rumors and speculation; but I can't imagine any other plausible reason for it. As much as I wanted Unusual you...it wasn't gonna happen. Shattered Glass would have slayed and realistically would have been chosen before my next choice Mannequin...the rest don't matter. ;) Pressed for all eternity that Kill the Lights wasn't released.

Oh my God. Like, I seriously can't believe right now. This era is going to be fire. Was it ever confirmed there were contractual obligations for "Radar"? I think so, but it wasn't with Bloodshy and Avant as everyone assumed, but the co-producers of the track The Clutch. Either way, were B&A ever confirmed as producers for this album?

I agree that Kill The Lights should have been released...
Womanizer Circus Out From Under Kill The Lights
Ugh, that would have been perfect.

:nope: I was all for If U Seek Amy's release, Kill The Lights would'nt have done much on radio. It was a nice album cut but nothing more, nothing less. Unusual You definitely should've had a release though. Out from Under was put on far too high a pedestal.

dont forget miss clarkson :) Is she releasing early next year? I mentioned something about it in her thread and some of her fans got defensive like an album hasn't even been finished or anything so how could I be expecting one lol.

'Unusual You' or 'Out From Under' (preferably the former) should have been third, with 'IUSA' as the fourth single during the summer.

MuuMuse Excluusive: And The New Britney Single Is Called… You might want to call me BRADtannica at this point. First of all, has anyone else noticed this? Merely an observation, not hinting at anything: ? Madonna‘s seventh studio album was Ray of Light. ? It was released in March of 1998. ? It was largely produced by William Orbit. ? The album photography was done by Mario Testino. Thanks to DaveWithAK on the BMK Forums for pointing out the many connections! But onto the real stuff. Remember when I said there’s plenty to come? I wasn’t lying. While I can’t quite officially reveal the single title to you, please… DON’T HOLD IT AGAINST ME.Are you ready for what’s next? Oh, and before you start Heavy Breathing…remember where you read this one FIRST. www.muumuse.com

Don't Hold It Against Me :o nice title! Maybe for this era, they will finally release Unusual You? Just like Radar (from Blackout) was released during Circus era. Is it possible? Unusual You is too good not to be released.

Unusual You is too good not to be released. As much as I love UY, it will have to remain a gem on Circus. Hopefully they learned from 'Radar' not to try to pull that off again. I am hoping for a song that is UY on steroids on the next album though.

Britney is coming for those wigs. Hold em tight, girls!!! I think she has enough trouble holding onto her own... lol jokes aside.. I think this will me a make or break moment for her...she has to step it up and cut the lipping and awful dancing. We are now in a phase where the biggest stars are the live singers whether they suck or not. Cant wait to see what happens! Esp with Beyonce/Gaga coming soon too
