Before it's locked! I think Britney is not a threat for Gaga and vice versa. Both girls will be huge in 2011.

I think she can get at least 2 #1 Hot 100 hits this era, 4 singles all together and I'm gonna say they can all go Top 10 if she promotes and doesn't release Radar again.

I hope this is something more experimental than a Max/Luke production. It was confirmed by RIAA some months ago that she has sold 100 million records. Can't find the exact article now. Probably because it was a fake article. I'm not saying she hasn't sold that much, but the RIAA only tracks certifications in America. They have no more way of knowing worldwide record sales than you or I. Nobody genuinely tracks worldwide sales.

I hope this is something more experimental than a Max/Luke production. I'd wager a good amount that the first single is Max/Luke, judging from the tweets, but I think they could come up with something experimental-sounding. Ke$ha's songs all sound relatively similar because they did the whole album in two weeks...this one has had a much longer gestation period.

I also take in consideration that after 12 years for "the faves that have not been around for 12 years" that they would probably be far from achieving what Britney Spears has...check her credentials all she does is win {sips tea} Have you not noticed that album sales have changed since 1999? And it's not like Britney is selling a ton of records these days either. As cheap as your screen name LOL. J/K. No! They changed. Go figure. LOL. Just like they are new artist that have and 2-5 albums and haven't accomplished some of those feats...there are artists that came out right before/right after her that have had the same opportunities. Not everyone will sell over 80 million records, have 7 albums debut at #1 or #2, sell over 500k of 4 or more albums-Circus sold 505k by the way, and quite possibly be the youngest artist under 30 with the most #1 albums...again, check her credentials.

Both girls will be huge in 2011. agreed. britney is a shoe in platinum and gaga will be multi platinum and that is fine...just like in the beginning Britney was a shoe in multiplatinum while Madonna was constantly getting platinum albums...it runs it course.

LMAO at the Radar hate. HAHAHAHA!
The video for that song was borderline beastiality. I think Brits had a thing more for the horse than any of those two guys.

Radar is one of Britney's best songs, whether fans want to admit it or not. Truth is, there wasn't much single material on the "Circus" album so I actually agreed with them releasing Radar. Contrary to popular belief, Unusual You would have flopped even harder. Not to mention, Britney kills this live. She always has so much fun.

I think the problem with Radar was that by its release it sounded too similar to the rest of the singles she had released. I know most fans won't agree, but Radar, WOmanizer, even Amy to a certain extent sort of started to blend. They weren't the same song, but the sound/lyrics/delivery were fairly similar. I am hoping she shows more variety with this new cd. I enjoyed Circus for what it was, but thought Blackout and some of her other cds showed more variety and that she can do different types of songs and still do well with them. I have a feeling I will enjoy this cd even more than Circus since I think Circus played it a wee bit safe at points being her true comeback cd. Now that she is back back she can experiment and play a bit. Should be interesting. I also hear that Beyonce is releasing soon so it is crazy for me to have Britney, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Avril all emerging at similar times with KEsha/Rihanna/Katy finishing up second halves of eras as well.

I love 'Radar'. I don't care that it didn't perform well. It was one of favourites when Blackout was initially released. I was just upset that they didn't release it during the Blackout era and choose to fuck up Circus by ignoring the other obvious potential singles (Shattered Glass, Kill The Lights and Unusual You).
