I love her but yeah, she looks terrible. But it's not just her body, TONE DOWN THE MAKE-UP ALREADY GIRL. Seriously she looks better when she goes for a more natural look.  Less is more Christina. Can't wait for new music btw! :) |

Something about extra weight on her is really not flattering. Her face makes her look really bloated and puffy. I have faith she'll drop the weight before she launches her comeback though.

Her face definitely looks borderline distorted with the weight gain. I have honestly wondered if something else was at play-either drinking or some sort of medication related bloat. I guess she could just be super unlucky and all her weight immediately goes to her face. I definitely think she could slim down fast, but I am surprised she looks bigger and not even like she is maintaining her weight. We are 3 months away from when Voice promo/launch/first singles will happen so she has time, but not that much time to get in shape.
Luckily she is tiny so I would bet the weight gain we see now is probably only 20-30 pounds and she COULD drop that in a month or two.

I definitely believe that the bloat is the cause of excessive drinking. She has picked up a few more pounds since promoting Burlesque (first pic) but its the styling that is the main problem imo.   |

I want to burn leotards forever and ever. Really, I have decided every pop star I love has difficulty dressing in flattering ways though. Seriously, my top 3 right now all have issues and possibly even Gaga sometimes.

Yeah, if she would cut out junk food and alcohol and start working out on a regular basis, I'm sure she could be back down to her fighting weight in no time. Hopefully she doesn't mess around. She needs to make sure that everything is in place for her comeback: her voice, music, image, physical appearance..it all needs to be on point. This is the best she has ever looked. Agreed. She looked absolutely perfect in the 'Tell Me' video. |

I don't even think she'd need to drop 30 pounds. That's a ton on a person that small. If she shed 15 pounds she'd look way, way better. Well, until she slapped on whatever hideous outfit and styling choices she had in mind. She just has two different--but fairly easily solved--problems.

It's tough for little people. When they gain its hard to hide. She looks happy and thats better than her being skinny and looking cranky because the bish is hungry. She can pull a mimi and Janet and be this way now but hopefully she tones up when her new era starts...weight gain also adds age and she is too young to look older than she is. |

So after Burlesque/divorce, she puts on weight. A little. Then apparently looses a most of it only to gain it back again later this year? Sorry but I have been outo f the loop for most of this year.
Style is indeed off. And I agree her face is not suited with the weight. She gained weight during Stripped and though it didn't suit her it looked more like puppy fat, as she was younger. That stage of her life also saw her drinking and partying often as well. I agree it is probably the alcohol.
Was it ever revealed why she and Jordan broke up? It eveidently took its toll. I feel bad for her. Bitch or not. The brake up of a family, one she was so proud and in love with, is tradgic even at the best of times... hell there are no best of times are there!
But lets focus on the possitive. Vocally she is as good as ever IMO (during the MJ tribute, hell I even want a studio version of Dirrty Diana!), boading well for this new era. I wonder what her new sound will be like? A great pop album with angst, meaning and a few gerat upbeat songs would be perfect. It doesn't have to sound anything like Stripped BUT continuing with that album's intensity would be wonderful. Heck bring Sia back and get her to work with Orbit, or alone I don't care. I'm sorry but the ballads on Bionic were a treat. Has she spoken at all about any new sonic or visual direction? Any set theme this era?
I hope she can slay once more. It has been a year of ups and downs. After the divorce we saw the anthem bundle and Grammy fall but despite that, she is on one of this years biggest hits AND is one one of the break through shows of the past year. To me that out ways the bad. It alsmost seems as though she's taken the bad and is turning into press, press that is keeping her relevant enough so that if the new album is handled well and is quality, she could really have a fair amount of success. No doubt the Bionic flop would have been a blow but the success of Bourlesque (more musically than cinematically) must have helped to heal some of those wounds?

But seriously. I don't have a problem with her weight. It's just that she needs a new stylist and make up artist or whatever cause they make her look horrible, like a pig. she looks puffy and big and it's so easy not to... and that shit is taking attention of her music, and it's a shame because she unlike many others does have a voice.
