The pop increase for "Oh Santa!" stemmed from Mimi playing it on American Top 40. Has it increased at all at pop since the update two days ago?

The dance mixes won't add much to the single sales- but, I still don't see why it shouldn't chart on the Hot 100 for at least 1 week (either 1/1 or 1/8 chart).

no it didnt really do anything on pop after that its still in the 70s getting +/- 1's-5's

Well "Low" and "Right Round" were massive hits for Flo Rida but his albums still flopped but while "Club Can't Handle Me" reached the top 10 it's still a far cry from his previous digital success so no wonder his album flopped even more

A look at some of the most notable movers and shakers on this week's Billboard 200 albums and Hot 100 singles charts.

The Billboard 200

-- Susan Boyle and the Black Eyed Peas: The Peas arrive at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 with its latest album, "The Beginning," launching with 119,000, while Susan Boyle's "The Gift" returns to No. 1, up two slots, with 271,000 (up 3%). While it's the third top 10 effort for the Peas, it's off quite a bit from the 304,000 that greeted its "E.N.D." in 2009.

-- Florence and the Machine: The act's album "Lungs" gains 32% (moving 83-54) in the wake of the "Glee" cast's cover of the set's "Dog Days Are Over" and the announcement of Florence's Grammy nomination for best new artist last week. (See Hot 100 notes below as well.)

-- Brad Paisley: As we get closer to Christmas, holiday efforts increasingly crowd the chart. This week, only six of the bulleted albums in the top 100 are not holiday efforts, including this Paisley "Hits Alive" set (moving 74-69; up 12%).

-- Straight No Chaser: The a capella group's "Christmas Cheers" zips up the list 79 slots to No. 100, tying the "Now That's What I Call A Country Christmas" collection (190-111) for the biggest leap on the list. These wintery wonderful gains will continue to accelerate for the next week or two until about the week before Christmas, when consumers have filled up their stockings on holiday music for the year.

-- Ray LaMontagne: Perhaps the act's surprise Grammy nomination last week for song of the year for the album's "Beg Steal Or Borrow" helps the "Lord Willin' and the Creek Don't Rise" rally to a re-entry at No. 183 with a 47% climb.

The Billboard Hot 100

-- Katy Perry: As previously reported, Perry becomes the first female artist since Monica in 1999 to take three straight radio singles from an album to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, as "Firework" lifts 2-1. She first topped the chart in June for six weeks with "California Gurls," featuring Snoop Dogg. A two-week stay at the top followed that in September with "Teenage Dream," the title track from her former No. 1 Billboard 200 set, which was recently bestowed a Grammy nomination for album of the Year. "Firework" sizzles at the top of Hot Digital Songs for a second week with 212,000 downloads (down 9%), according to Nielsen SoundScan, while ranking as the week's top Airplay Gainer with a 12-8 lift on Hot 100 Airplay, up 25% to 83.3 million listener impressions, according to Nielsen BDS.

-- "Glee" Cast and Florence and the Machine: "Glee" contributes to the Hot 100's Digital Gainer and Hot Shot Debut awards as the cast's cover of Florence and the Machine's "Dog Days Are Over" is the top new entry at No. 22, selling 98,000 (No. 8 on Hot Digital Songs). The song is one of five new entries by the "Glee" cast this week.

Meanwhile, Florence and the Machine's original recording jumps 58-21 on the Hot 100 and 40-11 on Digital Songs, matching its previous best peak on the former list and achieving a new peak rank on the latter, moving 90,000 downloads (up 121%). The song reached its previous best rank following the act's head-turning performance on the MTV Music Video Awards in September.

-- Coldplay and the Killers: The holiday season is in full swing as the Hot 100 hosts its first two seasonal entries this year, both by top-selling alternative bands. Coldplay opens at No. 25 on the Hot 100 and No. 12 on Digital Songs (90,000) with "Christmas Lights," while also topping the Holiday Digital Songs chart. The Killers enter at No. 79 on the big chart and No. 43 on the sales list (34,000) with "Boots." The latter band has released a holiday single each year since 2006, with its first offering, "A Great Big Sled," having been the only one to have previously charted on the Hot 100 (No. 54).

-- Akon: The singer performed his new single "Angel" Nov. 30 on CBS' "The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" and sees it re-enter the Hot 100 at No. 56 -- a new peak position -- with its best single-week sales sum yet (42,000; up 154%).

-- Dr. Dre: While his long-anticipated album "Detox" remains dry-docked awaiting an official release date, the rapper's new single "Kush" drops 34-58 on the Hot 100 in its third week. The title is still finding its footing on the radio charts (61-55 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and 15-13 on Rap Songs) while sales of the track decline by 55% this week after an initial consumer rush to purchase the track. "Kush" has moved 143,000 downloads in its three weeks of availability.

Wilson Phillips' Christmas in Harmony re-enters the BB 200, and at a new peak- No. 151. The "Good Morning America" promo may have helped. :)

Mariah's Merry Christmas goes up to #98 on the Billboard 200 this week which beats its peak of #133 last year. I wonder if it'll go even higher after the holiday special.

It topped that peak with last week's position, too. :) Most of the performed songs from the special are from the latest album. But if it does gain, it will buck the trend of holiday titles peaking 2-3 weeks before Christmas.

Flo rida was prbly just a tad under 10k since Hits reports albums that make 10k. Sorry to see Fefe do so bad. maybe if stuttering can pick up in January we can see her on the chart, theres too much competition this time of year for someone that is as unestablished as her.

i completley feel flo rida should release his part 2 and after that not release an album for a long time. just singles. become a true singles artist. after maybe 10 or so successful singles release a greatest hits, but no more actual albums for him. im thinking sean kingston should do this too
