itd flop on this format, in my opinion, at best itd outpeak rockstarr and maybe we ride I don't know. After the success of OG, WMN, and what S&M will pull off, I think radio will pretty much give Rihanna the Gaga treatment for awhile. |

I'm quite bored now of the whole album. Except for Man Down of course, the only truly great song on it. I hope they take the risk and release it after S&M.

I'm quite bored now of the whole album. Except for Man Down of course, the only truly great song on it. I hope they take the risk and release it after S&M. Man Down is one of the 2 worst songs in the album imo & I love the album still  I want either CKB or Complicated for single 4 and Cheers for single 5. Then I hope for a re-release single for single 6th. ;) As for Who's That Chick flopping.. let's wait till the end of the freeze to see what it does. :) Jan is going to be a tough month with Britney & Avril's new singles, P!nk's "Perfect," and well, S&M, but I think WTC can still get top 20 despite the competition. |

At the moment, looking into how they'd do not just how much I like them, I'd put "Cheers (Drink to That)" as 4th, not to have another OG/S&M style song, then give the amazing "Complicated" 5th, then either "California King Bed" or "Fading" 6th I suppose. I'd like them to end the whole era taking a risk with "Man Down" or giving a chance to "Love the Way You Lie, Pt. II." But if they re-release it, which I don't necessarily want, then they might want to end the era with something else off the re-release (but then again, they went back to "Rehab" after "Take a Bow" and "Disturbia", didn't they?)

I have a bad feeling that this will not do that well. Her label should've wait a little longer to sent this song, and with WMN?, WTC gaining, Only Girl still being played a lot, I don't think this would have longevity, and by the time those songs peak, this will be already dead.
I'm NOT HATING, I love the song and I want this to smash, but there's a lot of Rihanna right now on the radio, not all of her songs can be successful.

I liked this at first, but now I'm just not feeling it. I'm actually starting to get sick of Rihanna already. But I just want 'Fading' to be a single. That's my favourite from the album. Whether that song would be successful or not is another issue.

So this does not have an adds date yet? Because my local radio station is playing it ALOT!
I also think she shouldn't send this for adds until Feb 1st or after. Too much Rihanna still on the radio with OG (ITW) and WMN. I have never heard Who's That Chick yet on the radio, which is a shame because
1. It should have been on Rihanna's LOUD album and 2. It deserves its own single release (not to be combined with the release of S&M , which is happening)
This song will be another #1 for her, I believe, but timing is key this time of the year with Gaga/Britney and Katy's new singles. I feel Pink's Perfect and Avril's What The Hell won't be an issue for S&M...the only thing now that may be an issue is Rihanna's first three singles (OG/WMN/WTC) against S&M.

Then again, I don't necessarily see this as a #1 hit yet. Definitely Top 5, but not so sure about #1. The "na-na-na come on" and "I like it like it come on" hooks get old really fast for me. I like this song, even though I'm not into s&m myself.  |
