Decent choice. I doubt it gets them a fourth #1, though.

It'll outpeak "Riot", no doubt.

Not surprised at all. I could see this doing very well on Alternative and most likely eventually be sent to Pop.

"Lost in You" is definitely a better option. I can see them going 5-6 deep with this album, so it may still have a chance of being released, anyway.

Because they're repetitive and trite and gives no indication of anything other than surface emotion and spite. For such a beautiful sounding song, they could've written something a little more deep and personal.

"Just Like You" has to be among the worst songs of all time lyrically. I could be ______(adjective) I could be ______(another adjective), you know I could be just like you. Over and over again. And then the pre-chorus puts the words "just like you" in the exact same spot as the verse. And then guess what!?!? So does the chorus! And then they do it all over again. WOOHOO!

I guess the lyrics are bad but they are repetitive... i agree they should have switched it up a bit for the second verse.

I can see this having an outside shot at the hot 100. Especially if it crosses over on Pop radio.

In all fairness, none of their singles have ever really had any depth to their lyrics, but I don't think Gontier is trying to be a thought-provoking songwriter regardless. He's more about appealing to immediate emotional states and malaise.
I do believe they should have had a joint release, with "Lost In You" being shipped to mainstream and one of the edgier tracks being serviced here.

I finally listened to this and "Last To Know" for the first time. I don't ever really like their lyrics, and rarely love their music either. That said at least musically, "Last To Know" >>>> "Lost In You". Oh well.

Should do well. Sucks that album sales aren't as good as their past albums.
