I'm guessing NY/NJ/CT (NYC and the surrounding areas). It has way too many spins for that.

Color me stupid, what is the Tri-State. I think it's just the Clear Channel CHR/Pop stations. The top of the chart says Tri-State / CC CHR, so I think that's Clear Channel.

56. MYRA Miracles Happen 204 153 51 Go Myra! Still gaining over two years after the song was released! Well, in reality she only goes from 3 to 4 spins on Radio Disney, but since Radio Disney is on 51 stations, they count her spins 51 times.

That isn't in a big enough market to be on the regular panel. I don't know if there's a point to Clear Channel owning WHCY (that's the call letters) in Sussex because they also get Clear Channel's Z100. There are other places in the northeast where you can get two Clear Channel CHR-Pop stations: WLAN Lancaster and WHKF Harrisburg-Lebanon-Carlisle Z100, WKCI New Haven, and WKSS Hartford-New Britain-Middletown all appear in the Danbury ratings, along with two others that aren't Clear Channel. Offhand that's the market with the most CHR-Pop stations I know of. I just thought of Allentown-Bethlehem, which also has five CHR-Pop stations in the ratings and is one of the most popular Top 100 markets for CHR-Pop. The market gets CHR-Pop from its own WAEB (Clear Channel), WIOQ Philadelphia (Clear Channel), WHCY (Clear Channel), WPST (not Clear Channel), and one from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton I think. There aren't many places in the northeast without CHR-Pop.

WHCY comes in places where WHTZ has trouble. The further West you go in Sussex County, the harder it is to pick up NY stations. In the Poconos and down toward Allentown, WHCY comes in well and WHTZ doesn't.
Of course, the real reason Clear Channel has WHCY is so it can sell more advertising to Sussex. Sussex businesses aren't going to buy advertising on WHTZ because it's too expensive.
I've always liked WHCY. They seem to be early on Alternative (due to having no rock competition) and Dance hits (due to prioximity to NY). It's a similar situation with WBBO in Monmouth-Ocean, and even WPST in Trenton to some extent. I think I'm just going to call any station that is early on Alt. and Dance a "Jersey CHR" from now on. :)
It is cool that the Northeast is so CHR-heavy. I miss that now that I live near DC, where I can only get 1 CHR, and it's Hot 99.5, so I don't know if it even counts. I could get 4 CHRs in Philly, and a few more when there was any DX. I didn't realize at the time how lucky I was.
Some other CHR heavens that you mentioned:
Danbury- The two non-CC CHRs that show up in the ratings are WSPK, and WBLI. I have no idea how WBLI shows up. Driving through there, the WBLI signal seemed very weak. K104 comes in nicely though.
Allentown - The 5th CHR is probably WKRZ, which comes in the eastern parts of the Lehigh Valley on its simulcaster WKRF (107.9). WHCY is receivable in pretty much the same areas of PA that WKRF is.

Another CHR/Pop haven is the New London/Groton region which picks up its own WQGN (Q105) along with KC 101, WKSS and WILI (I-98 in Wilimantic) all coming in strongly throughout the market. WPRO comes in clearly in the Groton/Mystic area (further east), while WBLI comes in string in the western part of the region (East Lyme/Waterford).
So depending on where you are and how strong the signals are, you can sometimes get 6 stations.

mucho gracias but can u post all 200 albums ? That would endanger one's subscription. There isn't a good chance they would find out, but if you reproduce any chart in full, they reserve the right to never let you subcribe again. Just thought I'd let you know.
