I'm not sure this will even get Top 40, let alone Top 30. They seem pretty irrelevent to me now.

They're on Hopeless so I doubt they're going to get any kind of huge push.

I am so STOKED for this new album. Since I first heard "Way Away" back in 2003, Yellowcard has risen to become one of my favorite all-time bands and I was completely blown away by "Paper Walls." Their success has declined as time has gone on, but they seem to have gotten better and better to me with time as well. I agree that this probably won't do much at all, and that's quite a shame.

Decent band. I doubt they can do anything now though, if the likes of Hawthorne Heights, New Found Glory & Story of the Year can't. Radio has (mostly) moved on from that pop-punk sound.

It's really a bad place to be right now. Pop radio won't touch anything remotely rock, and Rock won't play any pop-punk stuff. Their best bet is Hot AC, but even then.

Like someone said above, they are on Hopeless Records and probably aren't looking to push any singles. They seem to be just making music for their fans at this point, moreso than selling a ton of records.
I agree, it sucks that bands similar to them can't catch a break on radio. I think they just have to come out with even better material that radio just can't ignore.

This sounds more like their 'Ocean Avenue'-era singles than the ones I've heard since then. I think this song will either pull a Story of the Year and get stuck near #50 or will catch on and go top 20. I don't really see a middle ground for this one.

Sounds very promising. I'd agree with Jamie on the chart prediction. The former is probably more likely, sadly >:(

I know they'll never be as big as when Ocean Avenue came out, but I found Paper Walls to be absolutely fantastic. That's actually one of the few albums that can make me cry I find it so powerful. So of course I was super bummed when they broke up after releasing just one single. (I dunno if they ever sent Fighting as well...), but anyway. Super super excited to hear this, i hope it picks up where they left off.

Really nice single!
Seems like it's out on iTunes now.

such a rocking song, I doubt they are aiming to be as big as they were before which is ok because a song like this shows that they are writing for their fans.

Seems like this receiving a pretty warm welcome considering they haven't been relevant in awhile. I'd love to see this go top 20 on Alt!

Another new song from the new album. This one's a ballad.

Just checked out their new record, along with the latest from Sum 41 & Unwritten Law. This one owns by landslide. Shame radio isn't gonna play them, they have some really catchy songs on this album.

Well in fairness to radio, this never went for adds. Their label is stupid.

Fair point. They've sent "Hang You Up" over to pop, though.

The label actually didn't seem so bad before several years ago. Then came along the likes of Amber Pacific..

Amber Pacific's not even on Hopeless anymore. They're on Victory now.

I haven't heard the new Sum 41 or Unwritten Law yet. I have heard the new Panic! At The Disco though. I listened to their new album once through and while I like it quite a bit and am satisfied for the most part, it's not even close to as good as "Paper Walls" or "Ocean Avenue." I guess it's about on par as "Lights and Sounds" for me.

Then went on to talk about the new Yellowcard. I have to get my desktop set up here in the new place so I can download Sum 41 and Unwritten Law. Oh yeah. I probably should let you know as of a few hours ago I'm officially re-joining you as a Central Florida resident again. Yay
