Lead single from their upcoming third studio album, titled "Vices and Virtues"... also the name of Art of Dying's new record. These guys are probably done, as this sound is completely dead on radio.

It's the perfect time for a revival.

It's the perfect time for a revival. Definitely, and I think they get enough recurrent play from their first album for people to remember who they are. I'm not really sure what to expect out of how this will do.

Their last album was very different from their first. I loved the singles from the first album, but I hated the songs from their last album. It is possible for this to go Top 20, but not much further. I'll have to listen to it.

I didn't like the second album much at first either, but it really grew on me and in a way I think I may like it more than the first. The first sounds so much like your typical Fall Out Boy-like pop-punk along with some dance beats and the second is so much unlike anything else you hear today and almost sounds like something from the 50s and is show-tuney and great to listen to on a rainy day.

I never got to hear the second album, but the followups to "Nine in the Afternoon" were big hits at least at the local level around here, and in the few times I got to listen to them, I was impressed. They were something that, if I ever get around to my 00's 'completionist' recap and all its necessary music downloads, it'd be on there for sure.
It's too bad the debut record had to be perceived as too fad-ish, and with the next record perceived as too 'normal', the writing was on the wall for it to be not as well received, and obviously that means expectations will be low with this upcoming release.

I actually liked "Nine in the Afternoon" better than any of their other singles.
Are they back to being 'Panic! At the Disco' now (as opposed to 'Panic at the Disco')?

There's only two of them now I think.

There's only two of them now I think. Yep, the others left. The song that was featured on the Jennifer's Body soundtrack (for some reason I can't remember the name right now, even though I really like it), is just the 2 members.

It's ok. Better than "Nine In the Afternoon", but nothing tops any of the singles from the first album.

I enjoy it. Reminds me of the first album actually.

Not bad given that their main songwriter left.

This sounds more Fall Out Boy then it does their original sound, but I do like it.

Doesn't look like it'll do much. Based on what? A decent bullet two weeks before it goes for adds?

I like this. Seems like more of a return to their debut album. I liked their sophomore effort also, so either way is fine for me.
