Going for AC adds on 1/17. If this charts, I believe it would be Cher's first AC hit since her duet with Rod Stewart, "Bewitched, Bothered And Bewildered", hit the top 20 back in 2003.

^ So bummed by this! Diane has gotten a lot of Oscar love in the past but they have clearly moved on. Oh well, she's certainly not hurting. :)

Oscar's not the only one snubbing it (which it had done for Golden Globe winners in recent years, anyhow)- AC doesn't look like it's picking it up at all. Which is too bad, as it's not a bad track. What's the last Diane Warren track that was hit?
Then again, I don't think any of the Burlesque tracks would burn up radio, officially promoted or not.

The last Diane Warren to hit the AC chart (that I could find) was Carrie Underwood's "Some Hearts" which peaked at #12 in May 2006. Her last #1 was Faith Hill's "There You'll Be."

^ Warren's recent songs don't get pushed to radio often (she's definitely fallen out of fashion) but she's still as busy as ever, showing up on all sorts of artists albums, Sean Kingston was a random one. Her track on Jennifer Hudson's album "You Pulled Me Through" wasn't even a single, but Jen performed it on the Grammy's anyway because it was so relevant to her life at the time.
Even Whitney's "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" underperformed, but it definitely charted.
I think Diane will come back into vogue eventually, but these are definitely her "off" years at radio.

I don't know why Diane Warren's latest ballad got snubbed by the Oscars when Randy Newman's zillionth Randy Newman song got nominated. It's quite amazing really.

I'm surprised this isn't at least doing something on AC radio. It sounds like the type of song that would do quite well. I wonder if it still has a chance to pick up momentum and at least chart.

"I Didn't Know My Own Strength" bubbled under the Hot 100 and charted in the 60s on R&B, but did not chart on AC.
I'm just surprised this is getting, like, no spins at all on AC. On Mediabase's published panel chart, No. 40 has 31 spins.

I'm guessing that Diane will get a Hot 100 week with the song she wrote for Justin Bieber for his remix album, assuming that the songs are sold individually.
