No new RIAA certs on the BB200 this week.
Gerry Rafferty's City to City re-enters the BB200 this week at #117 without its RIAA cert. It was certified 1xp in June 1978.

SuBo and Jackie Evancho hold on for another week, as The Gift drops 31-78 and O Holy Night dips 39-151.

I hate to be a pest but i have the top selling albums of each year with soundscan exact number from 2003-2009, but can not find the 2010 anywhere.
I am not sure if it simply is not out there (which seems unlikely considering at least the top 100 from 2003-2009 except for 2007 have leaked) or if i just am not looking in the right place.
Can anybody help? Is the top 100 or 200 selling albums with soundscan numbers of 2010 out there somewhere?

The 2010 YTD thread has an unofficial list that I created, likely is not 100% accurate Probably the best you are going to get

I can't believe Taylor swift's new album is selling this well, this album is not even good. Fearless was so much better than this one. Apart from couple of songs, i don't listen her album very often.

I disagree! Personally I think it's a very good album, and am glad it's selling well :) Opinions are great to have!

Someone from Susie's record company was telling Billboard that they think the album will still sell well during Valentine's Day and Mother's Day since it's only half of the album is seasonal. I wonder if it will start to climb again. ???

^^^ Wow, before this the lowest #1 was barely beaten by the previous lowest, but this time by more than 8,000 copies! I wonder how low the lowest will sell before bigger albums come out later this year... Thanks for the list btw, very interesting. New thresholds are being reached this year, we haven't hot bottom yet. #1 in the 30K range is inevitable. Who knows, perhaps below 30K is possible

It could still work with a re-release including it or something, but it's not likely. I don't think P!nk would be able to promote it or make a video since she did the Perfect video weeks ago and is now taking a well deserved break for her pregnancy.

I read through the whole roughstock article, and Matt Bjorke said that she's at #98 on the Top 200 chart, with about 4900 copies of "Play On" sold this week. In the list above, their are 25 albums, but only the first 20 are the top 20. Carrie is higher than all of the bottom 5 except maybe Eric Church. Matt said they only do the top 20 list when it's not around the holidays, and then they pick 5 more "interesting" albums.

Brian from idolchatter said she's #103 on the billboard 200 ???
Carrie Underwood, Play On (5,000, -30%, 1.929 million/1,000 digital, -36%, 224,000 digital total) (#103 BB200)

Roughstock probably meant that Play on is #98 on Current albums (which it is.) It is #103 on the Billboard 200 (per billboard.com).
