It was very hard to watch, I felt bad for Cissy the entire time. I'm so glad Barbara grilled Pat with those questions! She's trying to justify it by saying she wanted to keep an eye on Bobbi Kris the whole time by having cameras around so she didn't run away and isolate herself, and she claims it brought the family closer together, and then bringing up some reality show she was doing a few years ago that nobody picked up. I don't give a damn! It's too soon for this. To have cameras in your face 3 months after losing your mother? GTFOH Pat!
I realize Pat is now technically unemployed and is pretty much desperate to make as much money as she can right now, but she is being really selfish and throwing vulnerable Krissy in the mix for some change. I don't like how she mentioned a word about Krissy drinking on The View, much less on the reality show. Then went on to say that it was allowed in Krissy's life before her mom passed. Why would you say that Pat? Why??? Are you trying to make Whitney look like a bad mom and make yourself look like the one who can "save" Krissy? Why would you even allow cameras to film her having a drink at 19 years old? Why put that business out there? If you're truly worried about your "niece" you help her in private! You don't discuss her and Whitney's business publicly. Would you have allowed your underage daughter to be filmed drinking, Pat?
I am so mad right now.

Interview was hectic! They seriously need to let this girl breathe!
And Pat still didn't answer the questions: WHY doesn't she approve of Nick & Bobbi's relationship. And WHAT is the purpose of including Bobbi in this reality show. My opinion of all this: The people around Whitney contributed in their own way to her demise. And it is those same people Bobbi Kristina is around now. No wonder she lives in Alpharetta in Whitneys townhouse, and not in New Jersey. No wonder she is at odds with Whitneys "team".
Bobbi is trying to make a life for herself. And her family and the Whitneys people keep trying to treat her as Whitney 2.0.

The show is hard to watch. I was uncomfortable tuning in because every comment or reaction from everyone except Bobbi felt calculated. I don't sense a real concern for Bobbi. I can't stand that comment Pat kept saying that Bobbi is a child. No she's not. She's a grown woman. I can only imagine to deal with someone who is trying to control my decisions and actions and Pat is quite controlling. Bobbi just looks lost and wants closure of her own. Sadly, I don't think she will get it with these people in her everyday's life.

Bobbi Kris clearly needs counseling, a grief conselour definately wouldn't hurt her at this point.....and it seems her grief will be shown more in future episodes. :(
Thanks for exploiting her during the most horrific and surreal moments in her life PAT.

As true as this is, I don't think Cissy is blameless either. What is she doing letting this all go ahead, never mind appearing on The View to promote and even defend the project. As her grandmother, she should be there with Bobbi looking after her and stepping in to protect her, not sitting on The View forgetting where Bobbi even lives.

What's the timeframe for "Never Give Up"? I know Whitney worked with JD during the "Just Whitney" era & also around 07 when they were starting on ILTY. Anyone know when this is from?

Whitney Houston’s Manager Says Singer Was Planning "Unplugged" Tour, More Movies
29 October 2012
If Whitney Houston hadn’t tragically passed away in February, what would she be doing now? According to her former manager and sister-in-law, a lot — including touring.
Pat Houston, who now appears in the new Lifetime docu-series The Houstons: On Our Own, tells ABC News Radio that, had she lived, Whitney would have had something special in store for fans. “Whitney loved her fans and you know, we hadn’t done anything [live] in America for a quite some time,” explains Pat. “We were actually discussing, in California [before her death], doing a mini-tour….unplugged. You know, just her on stage with, maybe four musicians, for the fans in America.”
And that’s not all. Pat says that Whitney had a lot of projects coming up after Sparkle, her final movie, which was released in August. “There were movie projects on the table that she would have executive produced,” says Pat. “She wanted to do the Judy Garland story, If I Could Go on Singing…that was actually in the works. So, she was on the move.”
According to Pat, all these plans represented Whitney striking out on her own, creatively. “There was a continuation of doing things in her career but doing it her way, because she’d been in the industry for such a very, very long time with a lot of people telling her what she should or should not be doing,” explains Pat. “She was finally doing projects that she wanted to do, and it started with Sparkle.”
But what about Whitney’s music? Asked if there are more Whitney unreleased tracks, or other music projects planned for release in the future, Pat says yes, but details are sketchy.
“Music, we are still playing around with,” she tells ABC News Radio. “You know, [record executive] Clive Davis, he’s one that never gives up. This man has been an incredible, incredible mentor for Whitney for many, many years. So, there are many projects relative to music on the table that we will be dealing with, yes.”
Meanwhile, fans have I Will Always Love You: The Best of Whitney Houston to look forward to. This hits collection will be in stores November 13. A snippet of the album’s one new song, “Never Give Up,” has already appeared online.

"Never Give Up" is now out. I would have preferred another My Love Is Your Love single on the standard edition over this. ![:-x](http://images.proboards.com/lipsrsealed.gif) But I guess they had to give people who had all the hits an extra incentive to buy the album.

"Never Give Up" must be from the "I Look to You" sessions. I do like it but it's nothing special.

I pray there's at least 5 or 6 other unreleased Whitney songs in the vault somewhere.. :-\ Heartbreak Hotel should be on the standard edition...it was a Hot 100 #2 and an R&B #1! I hope so too but usually there's a reason these songs remained unreleased...like this one ![:-x](http://images.proboards.com/lipsrsealed.gif) Same thing with MJ's 'Michael'... I don't think Clive and Whitney over recorded much...they picked every track very specifically...at least during those early records. I think the bulk would come from the 'Just Whitney' period or between 04-07...

I remember Whitney working with JD back in 2004/2005, but I'm really not 100% sure when "Never Give Up" was recorded.

"Never Give Up" must be from the "I Look to You" sessions. I do like it but it's nothing special. I think they intended for her to have an album out much earlier than 2009. "Never Give Up" was recorded in 2004, so it was recorded a lot closer to Just Whitney than I Look To You. Anyway I doubt she has a lot of lost gems waiting in the vaults. Seems like a lot of the unreleased material was recorded between 1999-2007 (or so), and Clive tended to be very specific about what he had her record anyway. It doesn't seem like she was the kind of artist cutting 30 tracks for each album and whittling it down. Clive did the whittling down for her an chose the tracks he wanted on the album, and then she recorded them (for the most part).

Monica recorded the song as well for "Still Standing" but she didn't use it either.
