Cher has completed the video for "Woman's World" and is now posting pics on Twitter of the lucky fans that got to meet and take pics with her.

Any word on whether the track is going to be any different than what hit a couple of months back?

^The single was released as "streaming only" on Thanksgiving. I don't understand why WB did that, most people probably ripped this from youtube by now. It is not available as a digital download as of yet. Cher just wrapped the video, so things should start happening soon. The album will probably not be out in March as Billboard reported.

Yah, I don't get the streaming thing.
Given her age, not expecting much as a lead act on the charts, but it's always good to have new Cher.

^That is true- well, except the ageless part. :) But she defied odds back when U.S. radio was a lot less ageist than what it became- and when she was still in her 50s. Not saying a one-off decent-sized solo hit from an album isn't possible, but it would be an uphill battle. I mean, look how Living Proof fared- it was a big drop-off from its predecessor.
Side note: I prefer LP to Believe on the whole. "Song For the Lonely" was epic and should have fared better.

^^ Well, you'd have to be crazy to bet against Cherilyn... she has, after all, had more comebacks than the Tokyo Stock Exchange. I don't think age is much of a factor in her case. Unlike some of the other girls, she exudes youthfulness EFFORTLESSLY... I love that about her!

Yes she has- as well as more comebacks than Shirley MacLaine. :) I'm just saying not to expect some hugely successful project- as much as she's known for comebacks, the culture has become terribly youth-driven in the last decade-plus and that will affect anyone, no matter who they are- as we've seen. We have a 50-something rapper on the current No., 1 hit, but that's a "featuring." If they release the collabo with Stefani G., that could fare better than a Cher solo single.

Ugh. She tweeted that the label wants to release a single in June and the album in September.

Meaning "Woman's World" won't even really be the first single by this point. Meh...

As much as I want to have a new Cher album like NOW, it may be better to wait and start things out with a better first single and better timing of things. I mean, it was supposed to be a BIG comeback, a CHER comeback! The single came out and i believe the buzz was pretty low for a first single, people were not impressed and as far as i know nothing happened. Then after several months they decided to film a video for a song that was already pretty much stale?? What for?! Why invest in a comeback that will not really explode all over the planet? To me the label is looking for a BIG HIT to introduce the album and that did not happen with Woman´s World so they decided to postpone things until a better song is found.

'Woman's World" as a single would be a non-event at this point.
The collabo with Stafani Gaga probably could do decently as a lead single. Solo Cher tracks, less so (and we know the reasons why- no matter that she's had more comebacks than Shirley MaClaine, defied the odds before, etc. etc.- ain't nobody immune).

She filmed the video for WW, so I see them doing something with it.
Pulse members may know about that song as it was available for a hot minute, but the general public does not. From what I hear it's been removed from youtube.

Maybe the label saw the video and said NO WAY we´re going to introduce the album with this.

Cherilyn can do it and she will do it. She's the ultimate survivor... if there's ever a nuclear holocaust, there will be two survivors: cockroaches and Cher. People ADORE her... PLUS she's gorgeous AND amazing! GO CHER!!!

I'd love a Cher album with all contemporary collabs.

Cher’s New Album Is Finished, Features Scissor Sisters’ Jake ShearsChristina Lee April 21st, 2013 // 2 Comments Cher, one of the Most Enduring Divas in Pop Music, announced that her follow-up to 2001′s Living Proof is complete thanks to one last song featuring Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters (“Let’s Have a Kiki”). “Got to down & Finish last song ! Then it DONE !! Jakes here putting some parts down & a Harmony !” Cher said Saturday on Twitter, before she announced the album’s completion this morning. Once scheduled to drop in March, Cher’s new album was to feature Timbaland, a duet with Lady Gaga (“The Greatest Thing”) and two songs written by Pink. Cher has yet to say whether her new album will still include these superstar collaborations, but she did respond to one fan who thought she had disappeared. See her response after the jump.
