Finally, some shake-up in the top 10. I like Grenade so it can stay on top haha. Glad some new songs are coming in though.

You guys are seemingly forgetting that P!nk is a very consistent artist when it comes to digital sales. She isn't a boom and bust like others. Look at raise your glass where the sales stayed great as airplay increased. She will have more chances to hit #1 with this song (unlike songs like What's My Name? that dropped off after big sales weeks; P!nk is sales-consistent). I have no doubts that her sales will stay strong and once her airplay gets up there, she will snag #1.

DR. DRE -I Need A Doctor f/ Eminem= 2.752 I don't expect this to do anything on the radio but glad it got some spin. Probably mostly from Channel 95.5 though. What? It is going to be a huge hit

Ewww i fcking hate Grenade, ugh. Pink really deserved #1 with Perfect Nobody DESERVES #1. I bet if you took a poll three months ago, people would have been happy and shocked if it hit Top 20 on Hot 100. It's numbers don't warrant number 1 - yet. I wish P!nk's digital sales had been better during the FH era, Sober was so robbed.

Pink might get no. 1, but it certainly won't be next week.

Look at me now is #2 on iTunes now. How much should both INAD and LAMN sell in order to block P!nk from #1 next week? #2 for Perfect is damn amazing, but it would be the great for her if she could hit #1!

These new songs don't pose a threat yet; maybe INAD if it can hold the current advantage for the rest of the week.
Fucking Perfect has much less airplay compared to Grenade, but its advantage in sales has greatly waned now that the video buzz has mostly passed. If Grenade drops like a bomb (no pun intended) on iTunes from now to Sunday, then Pink will stand a chance.

From Yahoo: P!nk seems to be headed for her second straight #1 hit on the Hot 100. "F**kin' Perfect" vaults from #11 to #2, kept from the top spot only by Bruno Mars' durable "Grenade." P!nk's previous hit, "Raise Your Glass," topped the chart in December. "F**kin' Perfect" easily surpasses the recent #9 peak of Cee Lo Green's "F*** You (Forget You)" as the highest-charting hit that features in its title what we used to quaintly call the "F word." I guess this means that, for better or worse, having the "F word" in a song title is no longer an impediment to having a chart-busting single. "F**kin' Perfect" is P!nk's 11th top 10 hit on the Hot 100. She has amassed more top 10 hits than any of the other members of the high-powered ensemble that sang the 2001 smash "Lady Marmalade." Christina Aguilera has had eight top 10 hits. Lil' Kim has had five (counting featured credits). Mya has had three. Bruno Mars' "Grenade" logs its fourth week at #1, which equals his previous hit, "Just The Way You Are." This is the first time that a lead act has had back-to-back hits that each logged four or more weeks at #1 since the Black Eyed Peas reigned in 2009 with "Boom Boom Pow" (12 weeks) and "I Gotta Feeling" (14 weeks). Pop Quiz: Mark Wahlberg received an Oscar nomination last week as a co-producer of The Fighter, which is a Best Picture finalist. Wahlberg had a #1 single in October 1991 with Marky Mark And The Funky Bunch's "Good Vibrations." The multi-talented star is one of only three people to receive an Oscar nomination as a producer of a Best Picture finalist and also top the Hot 100 (as either an artist or producer). Name the other two. Answer below. Ke$ha's "We R Who We R," which entered the Hot 100 at #1 in November, enters the Official U.K. Chart at #1 this week. It's only the fourth song to enter the pop charts at #1 in both countries. It follows "I'll Be Missing You" by Puff Daddy & Faith Evans featuring 112, Elton John's "Candle In The Wind 1997" and Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On." "We R Who We R" is Ke$ha's first transatlantic #1 hit. "TiK ToK," her first U.S. #1, peaked at #4 in the U.K. "We R Who We R" is the third #1 British hit in a row that had first topped the Hot 100. It follows "What's My Name" by Rihanna featuring Drake and Bruno Mars' "Grenade." "Rocketeer" by Far*East Movement featuring Ryan Tedder jumps from #16 to #9 . This is the second top 10 hit for both acts. Far*East Movement hit #1 in October with "Like A G6." Tedder's group, OneRepublic, hit #2 in 2007 with "Apologize," a collabo with Timbaland. Quiz Answer: The two other people, besides Mark Wahlberg, to both receive an Oscar nomination as a producer of a Best Picture finalist and also top the Hot 100 (as either an artist or producer) are Barbra Streisand and Quincy Jones. Streisand, who has amassed five #1 hits on the Hot 100, received an Oscar nomination as a co-producer of The Prince Of Tides. Jones, who has produced 12 #1 hits on the Hot 100, received an Oscar nomination as a co-producer of The Color Purple. Maybe Quincy and Barbra will take Mr. Wahlberg to the Ivy for lunch to welcome him to the club. Here's the low-down on this week's top 10 songs. 1. Bruno Mars, "Grenade." The song hold at #1 for a fourth frame in its 18th week on the chart. This is its 10th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #3 (166K). 2. P!nk, "F**kin' Perfect." The song vaults from #11 to #2 in its fifth week. This is its first week in the top 10. This is P!nk's 11th top 10 hit. Digital sales rank: #1 (241K). 3. Katy Perry, "Firework." The former #1 song dips from #2 to #3 in its 15th week. This is its 13th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #6 (133K). 4. Wiz Khalifa, "Black And Yellow." The song dips from #3 to #4 its 17th week. This is its sixth week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #2 (187K). 5. Enrique Iglesias featuring Ludacris & DJ Frank E, "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)." The song dips from #4 to #5 in its 10th week. This is its sixth week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #5 (141K). 6. Rihanna featuring Drake, "What's My Name?." The former #1 song dips from #5 to #6 in its 15th week. This is its 13th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #20 (76K). 7. Pitbull featuring T-Pain, "Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor). The song jumps from #10 to #7 in its 18th week. This is its second week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #4 (155K). 8. Britney Spears, "Hold It Against Me." The former #1 song drops from #6 to #8 in its third week. It has been in the top 10 the entire time. Digital sales rank: #10 (113K). 9. Far*East Movement featuring Ryan Tedder, "Rocketeer." The song jumps from #16 to #9 in its ninth week. This is the second top 10 hit for both acts. Far*East Movement hit #1 with "Like A G6." Tedder's group, OneRepublic, hit #2 with "Apologize." Digital sales rank: #8 (125K). 10. Ke$ha, "We R Who We R." The former #1 song drops from #7 to #10 in its 14th week. It has been in the top 10 the entire time. Digital sales rank: #16 (86K). Two songs drop out of the top 10 this week. P!nk's "Raise Your Glass" drops from #8 to #11. The Black Eyed Peas' "The Time (Dirty Bit)" drops from #9 to #14. P!nk's song logged 14 weeks in the top 10, a total topped by one of her hits, 2008's "So What," which spent 15 weeks in the top 10. The Peas' song spent nine weeks in the top 10. It remains in the top 10 on Hot Digital Songs. It's #9 this week, with sales of 115K. "Coming Home" by Diddy-Dirty Money featuring Skylar Grey tops the 1 million mark in paid downloads this week. It also jumps from #13 to #12. By so doing, the song has climbed higher on the Hot 100 than two of three songs that are mentioned in its lyrics. McFadden & Whitehead's "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now" peaked at #13 in 1979. Dionne Warwick's "A House Is Not A Home" stalled at #71 in 1964. The only song that is cited in the lyric that climbed higher on the chart is Smokey Robinson & the Miracles' "The Tears Of A Clown," which hit #1 in December 1970. Usher's "More" jumps from #25 to #23. When I first heard this record, I thought it might be a long-lost Survivor hit from the 1980s. It has the punchy pop-rock beat of such Survivor hits as "High On You" and "Is This Love." It didn't make sense that a hit station like KIIS-FM in Los Angeles would be playing a Survivor hit from the 1980s, so I kept scanning the chart until I realized that "More" is by Usher. The guy is versatile. "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO featuring Lauren Bennett is the top new entry on the Hot 100 at #78. LMFAO's highest-charting hit to date is "I'm In Miami Trick," which reached #51. (That was the title of the cleaned-up version.) Songs by Aerosmith and The Script surge this week after being featured on recent episodes of American Idol. Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" and "Dream On" enter Hot Digital Songs at #54 and #76, respectively. "Dream On" is from the band's 1973 debut album. "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" is from 1998's chart-topping Armageddon soundtrack. The Script's "Breakeven" vaults from #129 to #40, while the Irish band's "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" bows at #107. Both songs are from The Script's eponymous 2009 album. Song Scorecard: Nelly's "Just A Dream" tops the 3 million mark in paid downloads this week. It's Nelly's biggest digital seller to date, though I should point out that his biggest hits, "Hot In Herre" and "Dilemma" (featuring Kelly Rowland), preceded the opening of the iTunes store. Wiz Khalifa's "Black And Yellow" and La Roux's "Bulletproof" both top the 2 million mark in paid downloads. Country star Miranda Lambert lands her second million-seller, "The House That Built Me," this week. The song is a Grammy finalist for Song of the Year and Best Country Song. Lambert previously topped the 1 million mark with "Gunpowder And Lead." That song has sold 1,051,000 downloads since its release in 2007. new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/chart_watch/74327/week-ending-jan-30-2011-songs-think-pnk/

Whether or not P!nk climbs to the top, a very impressive showing for a hits compilation's second single in this day and age.

LOL at the "we all knew Pink is fake" comment above. What she said was that as long as she is releasing stuff that she is proud of she doesnt care if they become hits or not. She had enough hits to worry about not having hits, anyway. :) I love her tweet and humor. And obviously "fuckin' perfect" is probably very personal to her. Why not be happy and proud about its success and want it to be #1? Pink is the real deal. Period. :)

Marry You has spent 9 weeks in the Hot 100, 91-90-98-86-85-90-100-99-95
I believe this song will receive strong support from the public and radio once it is released!

Yes- as someone who's enjoyed a good amount of success, I'm sure Alecia likes doing well- just as anyone does. I would think it's even more gratifying when one doesn't set out and craft music with the intention of scoring hits, and it happens.
At first I was confusing "Marry You" with "Marry Me." hehe All these dang "marry" songs.

I don't think she's far above being fake when she has to.

Of course we can't know anyone's intentions about whether they're out to score hits or if that's just the music they like to make (or the two could be the same for some), but both RYG and FP were co-written with Max Martin, one of the biggest hitmakers around today, and both sound very current.

She herself has even said shes hypocritical. So I don't think it's being "fake". That word gets thrown around and misused almost as much as "overrated"

^At one time or another, all pop acts make music to be as accessible/appealing as possible. But, some set out to score hits on a regular basis, while others may take a less obvious approach and try to mix things up a bit (those are the acts who garner more musical credibility outside of the pop world and the charts). All good, though, as different artists have different goals and such.
Appearing on a hits compilation, RYG and FP very well may have been crafted to be hits. :)

it's nice to see that songs of self-confidence and self-respect have done so well recently, likely related to the It Gets Better movement. "Firework," "Raise Your Glass," "F**kin Perfect," and even "We R Who We R" all got to number one or two with encouraging messages, and I expect "Born This Way" will be handed the torch when it receives its iTunes release.

And people think Mariah's the only one that is interested in her chart positions lol At least she doesn't pretend like it's not important to her when it is like so any others seem to do.
But I don't think it's necessarily the case with Pink. She seems to be just joking around.
