Walking and lip synching doesn't cut it by any standard. Saw it the first time tbh.

Why are people judging her performance level by these two cameos? It's not even her performance. As a Britney stan, sure I was disappointed. I wanted this and that and all that was her back in her prime. I've come to terms we may never get that back but I still hope she atleast give it her all. Looking at the performances last night, it does seem she was into it. She just seemed like a nervous wreck. I wish there was more to her performance though. The S&M performance was OK, but TTWE was totally unnecessary. tbh, I thought she downgraded the performances of RiRi and Nicki - not that Nicki's performance was in any way good at all.

Can I just say...can Britney really make it any more obvious that she's lipping? Her feed was a lot softer than Nicki's in TTWE. Both her performances were a MESS if you ask me. They were a mess and she didn't' steal shit. He performances are pathetic and boring now. Her laziness continues to baffle me and her lip synching was ridiculous considering Rihanna sang completely live.

Because she does the exact same thing she she performs her own songs nowadays. Its no different. Britney's downgraded herself considerably, and it's looking ridiculous.

Top Dance/Electronic Song: Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina - Stereo Love
I'm curious, did they ever showed the nominees and winner for top dance song on TV?

Walking and lip synching doesn't cut it by any standard. I wonder if this is what is going to spin her career downwards again. People being sick of seeing her on stage doing nothing and ultimately losing interest in her. We'll see what happens. I don't think people will lose interest in her musically unless she puts out a lackluster album. I think her tours will start to suffer severely from this point forward. She's not helping any and neither is her team. My bet: the biggest impact will be on tour sales.

I've been reading a lot of things like tbh. I really think some of ya'll are being extra when it comes to Britney, like did anyone REALLY think she would sing live? It's been how many years now? If anybody seriously thought she would, they need to re-evaluate themselves instead of Britney because that's like her most consistent thing that hasn't changed. And it's not like she looked lethargic. She moved around pretty well in S&M and did what she had to. TTWE was disappointing only because her fans thought she would be performing her own slot; it was just a quick cameo so of course 30 seconds they're not going to fit in all her props and dancers just for that. I mean, c'mon. Had her appearances really been kept a surprise, I don't think anyone would have found a problem with anything, it's just because all weekend you guys expected her to be getting her own slot.

No ones being extra with her. People brag about how amazing Britney is but yet she's not showing us anything amazing like she used to. And that's the problem, the fact that it is consistent and she should change lol I'm not hating, I just don't like when people actually have talent like Britney, but yet they choose to mask it.

I know...I am actually surprised that there is some praised. I thought it would get universally panned. TTWE rightfully so... People are always going to talk about her lipping because she gets away with it...so people have a problem with it. It's just an easy target. I hope no one is surprised by that but at least in the past she did dancing that justified it...even in the near past where she was doing half baked dance moves (arm flailing galore) it was bordering justified/unjust. I think that if she would have sung live or lipped with at least half@ss dance moves it wouldn't be a big deal. She literally walked out on the stage and lipped and was so phoned in on TTWE. I actually liked S&M (B) TTWE (C-) and I am being generous and I refuse to rate lower than C- I signed away those rights when I became a stan

I don't care that she lipped-I realize we will most likely never hear her live voice again. It bothered me more that it was lipped so poorly-like she hasn't been doing it for close to 10 years or didn't know the words to the song or just plain didn't care. I don't know-I don't get what is going on with her that they cannot even get her live performances to a certain minimum level of quality. I feel bad though because I don't think it is her being lazy so much as some of her problems and possibly even her medication affecting her.

Britney's performances were terrible.

Anyways,Still happy for Taylor Swift's wins at the Billboard Music Awards.

2.6 is not great. That was by far the lowest-rated of the award shows this year.
VMA's - 10.0 Grammy's - 9.9 AMA's - 4.3 CMA's - 3.4 ACMA's - 3.3 BMA's - 2.6

It got like a 4.5 in the household ratings Also VMAS household ratins was not 10 when the overall viewers was a lil over 11. Usually 11 million viewes is about a 7.something household. You gotta check your numbers.

The show wasn't on for like four years and didn't really feature any big performers.
It was never officially confirmed on TV ads Britney would be performing and same for Beyonce. It was always a special presentation to her.
The ratings equal a success though based on what normally airs on ABC on a Sunday night. Plus it was up from the last show. Check facts before you complain.

Yeah, but I wouldn't say she was "killing it" with those singles. With the GGGB and Loud singles? Yes. But, then you got to remember that during that same era, she was featured on the Top 2 hits "Run This Town" and "Love The Way You Lie." LTWYL=Loud. part 2 was a bonus track on Loud.
