This is two eras in a row where BFMV made a bad single choice second and released the obvious choice third. I liked "Waking The Demon" as a song, but that should have followed "Hearts Burst Into Fire". HBIF maybe should have even led the way considering how quickly "Scream Aim Fire" made them fall out of favor with the alternative crowd after "All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me)" made them fit in somewhat comfortably. Then again, "Scream Aim Fire" was the single that warmed me up to them so maybe they made the right decision for people who thought they were pussies. ;)

I don't like that "Bittersweet Memories" had a huge drop from "Your Betrayal"s chart run. There's better songs on the album IMO, but I can see this being probably the most radio friendly one left.

Streamed this just now and it didn't do anything for me. (In fact, the bridge left me with a negative overall impression of the song.) I was curious when Fever came out, since their first album's decent (obtained a free copy of it) and I burned off the second one, though the majority of it I can't remember offhand. Never did get around to streaming Fever, though, and at this point, I think I'm mostly indifferent to hearing any more music of theirs. They never were more than a J.V. metalcore band to begin with.
...But I didn't put my hair in a ponytail for nothing, so if I'm going home alone tonight, I ain't goin' at all.
