Best choice for a single off this record; anthemic and catchy...could sound good on pop stations as well.

I would have rather have had "Party Poison" but this would probably be tied with "Destroya" as my next choice.

Best choice imo. I'm gonna say that this goes top 5 @ the very least with a good shot @#1 :).

I'm guessing it'll match around where "Na Na Na (nanananananananananananananananana)" peaked.

That's weird. Don't recall seeing this earlier in the updates. Are they updating at midday now?

I would have picked this as the second single, honestly. It was the most instant "anthem" song on the album for me. I want "Planetary (Go!)" next.
I'm pretty sure that this will at least hit the top ten, with a good shot at top five depending on competition.

Did this get a radio edit? Or does rock radio not care about length?

Did this get a radio edit? Or does rock radio not care about length? No, it's been shaved down to about 4:15.

They've never gone more than 3 singles deep before, but for as beloved as "Planetary" and "The Kids of Yesterday" are, it would be a shame for those two songs to never gain any wider exposure beyond people who enjoy the album.
Even for a seemingly open-minded fan like myself, this album was a definite sonic curveball that has taken tons of listens to warm up to, but it certainly has, slowly but surely.

Out of left field, I'd like "Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back" to be a single.

Out of left field, I'd like "Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back" to be a single. That's definitely one of my favorites, but I just don't see it being released over those other two, if there even will be any more. "Planetary" has grown on me and even though "Only Hope" is a little too slow and sappy, there really isn't a dud song on the whole album.

This was the ultimate "what the hell is this." first listen for me, but now that it's been played for me a few times, I'm liking this a lot and continue to be disappointed that they've fallen to the point where they have to struggle to climb the chart.

You're talking about the whole album, right? And not just this song? In any case, what do you mean "now that it's been played for me a few times"? You didn't pick up this album when it came out?
