 Has anyone checked out a new song called "Falling" by Lakotah? I've heard the new remixes by Majic Boys, Mickey Oliver,, Gustavo Scorpio, and Ryan Humphries and I'm really liking them a lot. Any Comments?

It reminds me a little of older trance. I don't think there are any remixes of this out yet, maybe some will come out soon. I only wish the main melody part went on for just a bit longer. I downloaded Jason Derulo's dance remix album Reloaded a few weeks ago and I am forever in love with the 7th Heaven Club Mix of It Girl. I do like the idea of this topic in which we share some songs that we are liking and stuff, but there has been very little activity in the Dance section over the course of the last few months. It feels like the discussion of new songs/remixes that used to happen as separate topics for each song are just happening in here.
The Dance section used to be very active back in the day. I stopped making new topics for more of the top 40 releases and other new releases when I saw there was little to no attention paid to them (possibly very little interest in those ones).
We cannot force/require people to respond just for the sake of posting, but I would really hate to see this section become like the now gone Jazz section which was in a similar state in its final years.

Hmm, you seem to make a very good/pertinent point. I felt like I wanted a thread to post just any dance song or remix you wanted to post without having to make a thread for it, since I feel like I kind of have somewhat niche dance tastes a lot of the time compared to many other users on this board and that most of the threads I'd make about remixes/songs would go largely ignored. But you may be right that this thread is something that has been partly responsible in slowing down the dance forum here overall.. What do other people think about this? |
