Is the R&B albums chart still comprised of R&B core stores, or has Billboard done away with that? I thought I read something about BB doing away with that some time back, but could be wrong.

I got excited because I thought it was the full top-200 for R&B; I've been dying for it to leak!

Sales by album format in 2011:
60,002,000 CD albums sold. Down 10.4% from 2010.
28,928,000 Digital albums sold. Up 16.2% from 2010.
1,068,000 Vinyl albums sold. Up 34.8% from 2010.
19,000 "Other" albums sold. Up 58.3% from 2010.
"Other" has to be cassette sales, but why have they increased so much?

Because they were so minimal that any increase in sales is big.
