What was the last song with a bullet like Katy's? Maroon 5?

Last person I can think of with a 2000+ bullet was Madonna with '4 Minutes'. Katy's is the same situation with it building up that much steam in the first couple of weeks. What I find more impressive is B.o.B achieving the same feat when his song's been on radio for a few weeks already.

Well you can also atribute Haley williams for the massive success. A lot, and I mean a lot, of my friends just have orgasms over the song because haley is on it and don't care for the rap. Which I find annoying as both parts are good, but if it was just B.o.B rapping, the song wouldn't have the same effect

Eventhough Haley's part is the only part I like from the song, I think that her name is not what's causing Planes's explosion as pop radio is not really fond off Paramore. Even if it was some unknown (or uncredited) vocalist, like in Derulo's Whatcha Say, I think it'd still perform as great as it has thus far.

Madonna was the queen of imeditate airplay. It is near impossible to break her record. She debut at #2 on hot 100 airplay without going #1. That is just crazy!

Highest debut

Madonna set a record in 1992 when the lead single and title track from her sixth album Erotica debuted at #2 on the Hot 100 Airplay Chart. It is very difficult for a song to debut at a high position on the airplay chart, for many reasons. Firstly, in comparison to sales, there is no real set date for when a single hits the airwaves and it usually takes some time to grow to chart so high. Secondly, airplay itself is a pre-promotional tool so there is a lack of control over its spread of popularity. Thirdly, competition is very intense on the airplay charts as any song is eligible to chart, whereas for singles, a commercial release must be issued before it becomes eligible (at least before 1998, when "Erotica" accomplished the feat, this was the case). When Madonna's Erotica debuted at #2 on the Hot 100 Airplay in 1992 it was a huge achievement. "Erotica" was able to gain a lot of immediate airplay due to its controversial lyrics and also from the hype surrounding the book she had released prior to the release of the single, Sex.

I like the new addition. It's got a great playlist. However, I'm not a big fan of the huge spin numbers for the top five.

Also, for those who were talking about the big bullet, Eminem's "Just Lose It" had a bullet of 3000, and I'm pretty sure it holds the title as the biggest bullet ever.
