^ Lol. In what world is 2 million considered a flop? Cause your condescending post makes it sound like you're trying to call it a flop. If a song sells 2 million copies it's not a flop, but it's far from a huge smash hit. 2 millions digital song sales is a pretty huge hit IMO

By my estimations though she'll be around #12 on this week's Hot 100... but the remix that comes out Monday should definitely help her back into the top ten along with consistently increasing airplay

^ I think the top 10 last week is gonna be the same as this week(except for the top 5), there's no major debuts this week except for Beyonce w/c is currently sitting at #13 on iTunes below TTWE.

End of what era? Am I missing something? Lady GaGa just got a 6-week run at #1, that single is on the decline because her second single Judas has been serviced to radio. In one week it's already at 32 million impressions and in its early stages.... and you witness one small decline on Sunday for that single and suddenly it's "the end of an era"? LOL... my God, I'm not even a GaGa stan but sometimes you just have to call out idiocy when you see it.

I'd hardly call it an end of an era, but you have to admit that the GaGa & Beyonce machines seem to be winding down a bit this go round unlike Katy & Rihanna. Is it a sign of things to come?

at the "end of an era". Beyonce just released a non-commercial track, it's not like interest in HER has gone down any. Kelly Clarkson and Rihanna went through the same thing and bounced right back with radio-ready tracks, it isn't rocket science. As for Gaga....well "Judas" is just having a rolling effect but BTW has slowed her down some.

Okay, this "BTW only sold 2 million" stuff -- you do realize the song is only 2 months-ish old? By the end of the year it will probably have sold around 3.5-4m, which would put it as a huge hit.
Personally, I think Gaga's two lead tracks here are underwhelming, but that doesn't mean they're doing poorly. Judas won't be a #1 hit, that's almost definite, but it's hard to predict how the rest of the album will fare.
As for Beyonce, it's especially too early to tell.

I personally think Beyonce and Gaga should just quit the music industry and go live in a hut somewhere. There is no other option because they are so clearly finished for good.

Well "The Lazy Song" is most likely going to jump ahead of it on the Hot 100 as it has 40-45 million AI and has been top five on iTunes pretty much all week. (unless the digital sales of most of the top ten are quite close which I doubt it) And "Blow" has jumped ahead of TTWE for a few days now (up to #6) and has the same airplay basically so it could be close but I think she's going to miss the top ten this week (by not many points, mind) I hope she makes it though

I am dead serious. They are not even fit to be in society anymore. Their flopping is just too extreme lately.

Rolling in the Deep will likely end up at #4 or #3 this week, still good. I just hoped it would break the top 10 and it exceeded my expectations ;)

I mean My December was never meant to be a commercial success....and Rated R was...odd but a important album for her to release. Lets just see how the era goes, no album even out yet!

I think Bee and Gaga wlll perform under our expectation this era, album wise and single wise. At least Gaga started off with a monster single, but that song lost so much steam as if 2mil is already the threshold of its total run. I don't think BTW will end up with 4mil. More like 3mil+/- Live performance will help Judas of course, and the mv is not even out so we still don't know yet. I don't think Judas will get a #1 on the Hot 100. And I believe Judas will not have the staying power like previous Gaga's singles did.
For Bee, I hope she comes back strong with a more "mainstream" second single. This one is DONE. I'm serious, real DONE. With her name, she does not need promo to get people to buy a good song, but the song is just pure bad in people's taste. She just needs to let people know that she has a new single out, and I guess everyone already knows about it. If her second single fails to make any impact, the album is DONE as well. Good Luck Bee.

Ridicule me all you want, but it is hard to deny that Judas is flopping badly for Gaga standards, not just in the US but everywhere, and it's even a non-album single for now. Born This Way exploded out of the gate and was #1 in every territory. That said something about the anticipation level for new Gaga material. Clearly the public didn't take too kindly to BTW - despite the huge initial sales - which has resulted in much much less interest in her second single. As I wrote, it is "too early to call it the end of an era", but the omens are not good.

Gaga's just releasing the singles she personally wants; after these two we'll likely get Marry The Night and Edge of Glory which are bound to be the radio-friendly singles the label will force her to release.

I don't know what to think about Gaga, but like I said in the i-tunes thread, "Irreplaceable" came out after "Deja Vu" and "Ring The Alarm" underperformed so we shouldn't count Beyonce out just yet, even if her second single under performs.
