Second rock single from Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes.
This and "California..." are the most memorable songs from the album besides "Machine Gun Blues."

I actually just got an email from Epitaph saying that "Gimme The Sweet and Lowdown" was the next single and it's available now on Play MPE for download.

Well I guess that must be the third single. This went to Triple A I think, but since I didn't think Social Distortion were really a Triple A-ish band, I assumed it was or will be impacting rock radio.

Huh? "Gimme the Sweet and Lowdown" will go for Alt. adds on May 10th.
You're lucky I wasn't cheeky and started another thread.

Ok. So I guess "Gimme the Sweet and Lowdown" is going to rock and "California (Hustle & Flow)" is going/gone to Triple A.

This is a fine choice for a follow-up single. (Unless they're re-sending it, "California (Hustle and Flow)" went for AAA adds back in January.)
Album will never be as good as their previous two (and probably the s/t either), but it's definitely growing on me. Didn't think I'd ever have trouble getting into a new Social D album...

I hope this nets them another charting single.
