I love "Southern Charm," especially based on the co-writers. I like that title too, and it also makes for a nice album title imo.

... Google said that, anyway. It's funny how that changes but the players, for the most part remain the same... Players as in artists. Haha... Carrie really should be #1 every year... And that's just the truth.

I love All American Girl and would say that is one of Carrie's better co-writes. It has been a very popular song - a lot of sales and is one of her higher spun songs. I think AAG is a song-writing success for Carrie. However, I completely agree that she should choose the best songs for the album even if that means she did not write them. In fact, I fully support this idea. I hope that she can try to be impartial when looking at her options and really try to choose the best quality songs even though I know she must be invested in the songs she writes. Structurally AAG and MS have the same problem, they both use handwaving adjectives to tell a story instead of show it, and they both don't really focus on the the subject of the song, and jump entirely away from the premise with a weak echo in the last verse. However, AAG is catchy, uptempo, fun, and relatable to all ages, and MS isn't any of those, which is why I loved AAG and hated MS. For an example of songwriting that actually uses imagery to paint a picture, Trisha Yearwood's " American Girl (XXX's and OOO's)" covers a similar subject in much better depth than AAG.

"I Need Something Strong" - Caitlyn Smith / Carrie Underwood / Troy Verges I wonder if this is the song that Carrie said the band had to get "loose" for while recording?

Tedder.....
Idk. I like some of his songs pretty well. With Hillary's name attached it could be promising.

"Hear A Heartbreak" is such a great title. "Good In Goodbye" is interesting too. Carrie really meant it when she said she was going to be writing for the album until the last minute.

Will Carrie be at the ACAs tonight? I'm hoping and keeping my fingers crossed that I get to see her tonight!

Found another one... "Riverbank Song" - Ashley Gorley / Kelley Lovelace / Carrie Underwood JSYK: just b/c a song has been registered recently doesn't it mean was written recently. Ryan Tedder had mentioned working w/ Carrie on three songs in this Reuters interview published on June 28, 2011. And @roachsounds had tweeted about Hillary Lindsey & Tedder cutting tracks in his studio on May 06, 2011. Carrie isn't mentioned in that tweet but I'm connecting the dots. The only recently registered co-write that I think was for sure written quite recently is "Good Girl." Chris DeStefano seems to be really up-to-date when it comes to this whole registering thing.

Carrie's on the ACA red carpet right now. I feel like something special is happening tonight because she's been so hush-hush about attending.
She was just interviewed on the carpet. There was a big meeting with the label about album #4 earlier today. No album release date determined as of now. She's having a difficult time deciding which songs to let go b/c there are so many good ones.

Excited Carrie is going to be there! Hopefully she will win at least one award tonight! On another note, Lauren Alaina is touring with Jason Aldean in the spring. So there goes our theory of her touring with Carrie

Carrie looks too cute tonight: And, she just won Female Single of the Year for "Mama's Song."

I have no idea about this awards show, but do you think Carrie could be the artist of the decade and do something special?

^They said they asked mediabase about information on the most played artist right? Is it possible she is up there that high? If they are taking the past ten years, Carrie hasn't been around all of those... I wish she'd win though. I really want her to perform. This show needs something interesting.

I agree that the show needs some kind of life to it. I love Kristen, but her and the overly sure of itself wooden board that is Trace Adkins have no chemistry whatsoever. This is basically a train wreck, if you ask me.

Carrie took home Female Artist of the Year & Best Female Music Video, as well.
From her acceptance speech: "I've got an amazing 2012 planned for you guys. We're going to have so much fun!"

That has me really pumped. Congratulations on her wins and to her fan base for getting her these awards, it's impressive. I love how "Mama's Song" won an award and was nominated for a Grammy in the same week, neither of which, I don't think were at all expected. I listen to it all the time. I know it doesn't have top-notch lyrics, but it works and she delivers a flawless vocal on it.

This just made me so happy and even MORE anxious to hear some kind of news about the single, album or tour! I'm expecting a full single/album title/tour announcement no later than the end of January. If 2012 is a touring year she has to get the media blitz out of the way which is at least a month's worth of appearances. I'm thinking a single January/February and an album March/April and then a tour starting sometime late Spring?
