Had a blast at the FC party. Carrie was cute as f**k - sounded & looked incredible. Not like any of that is new news, though. Anyway, here's some stuff my brain managed to retain: - Carrie mentioned that she'll be performing something she has never done live before at tonight's Opry show. Some friends will be joining her for said performance, as well.
- 'Distant Lullaby' & 'See You Again' will be on the upcoming album.
- Reba personally thanked Carrie for performing 'How Great Thou Art' on national television.
- Don't even remember how this became a topic of discussion but Carrie mentioned that she wanted to have her own animal rescue resort of some sort in the future. She then joked that future FC parties would be held at the Fisher Family Zoo.
- Carrie told a story about Brad complaining about vocalists singing over his guitar solos, Carrie retaliated by saying "Well, I hate when you guitar guys try to take over my vocal parts!" or something to that effect. It was cute.
- Carrie listens to Wham! when she's feeling down.
- ...That's all I've got.
They need to scrap that Family Feud s**t, though. It was a mess. That video has me so excited for new music. “I have songs that are very different in our little back pocket right now... there are songs that are more spiritual, I have songs that are a little bit darker...a few more folkie-type songs that.. are so beautiful with the guitar... It’s exciting to put them all together and see what you’ve got.” This sounds good, so good. I'd like to see a video of ''You Won't Find This'' live. I don't think I've seen her do that one live. I might be able to help you with that...  So jealous of you in every aspect. Remind Me is now available as a single download on itunes!  Just bought 3 digital downloads.  |

I seriously long for the day when she creates an old skool country record, perhaps when she is older, because her voice is just so pure and true to country. |

Thanks for all the vids of the FC Party. Really enjoyed ''You Won't Find This'' live. Great to see her perform ''That's Where It Is'' as well. Also thanks for the caps of the opry shows, vinman. I loved her performance of ''Baby Got Her Blue Jeans On''. She's just always flawless on country classics like that.

Miranda and Jason are two of the most popular/successful artists in country music at the moment. Are you really surprised that they made it into the category and 'Undo It' - a song/video that even most of Carrie's diehard stans seem to dislike - didn't?

I refuse to get pressed over the CMT Music Awards.  Forgot to mention how much I enjoyed the music played at the FC party before Carrie got on stage. 'Oh Love', 'Stealing Kisses', 'Hey Good Lookin', 'Strawberry Wine', 'Wide Open Spaces', amongst others. Carrie's taste in music >>> |

I'm still wondering when Brad and Carrie will do their first-ever live performance of RM. Surely it can't be at the CMAs. That's 5 months from now! RM will be recurrent by then. Also, does anyone else get the feeling Carrie won't release a new album this year? |

Also, does anyone else get the feeling Carrie won't release a new album this year? I'm getting that feeling as well... If the quality is there, it's well worth it too. Does anyone know the time frame for Carrie's other albums, putting them together wise? (SH probably wouldn't be an accurate comparison due to the rush to release) Specifically when Carrie said she'd start recording for the album? And still writing? I think it will be Q1 next year. Carrie can take all the time she needs to make this album as good as it will be, I can wait (a little longer...) |

I refuse to get pressed over the CMT Music Awards. Not pressed about Carrie not winning/not making the Top 5 at all. She's going to Australia, something we've been waiting on for 6 years. I don't care about one awards show. However, I'm kind of curious as to what CMT was thinking with their live feed with Taylor, when we didn't know if she made the Top 5 until 8:15, and voting didn't end until 10 minutes before the award was announced. Kind of amused, actually. Not pressed, not mad; just amused.  Oh, well. I don't care enough to continue on. FYI -- The real UI video <<<< the PO background tour footage. |

I'm starting to get strong February 2012 album release vibes, as well. It just sounds like she's putting a lot of thought into this album and ultimately fulfilling her vision. I'm sure it's for the best.

^If the cd is released then the only thing I worry about (as a Carrie stan of course) is sales. I really want her to get this years christmas sales and I feel when albums are released in Jan and Feb and such they never sell as well.
THough if they do try really hard to achieve perfection with this cd then maybe a smash hit will propel it to high sales anyway...I don't know. it just makes me nervous...
