Jesus, Take the Wheel was performed by Jeff Jenkins (from Adam Levine's team) on The Voice tonight. He has a beautiful backstory behind his selection of the song, and it was brought up when Christina was speaking about the performance.

LISTEN to Carrie's interview with an Australian news talk radio station. She and Mike just purchased some land in Nashville near where Keith and Nicole are, so they're gonna be neighbors. Kinda funny-ironic that she and Mike purchased land in Ottawa and built their new house together and now they have to do that all over again in Nashville.

From Carrie's photoshoot at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney, Australia: - You can view that photo-shoot in its entirety here.
- 'Remind Me' debuted at #59 on the Hot 100 with 42,000 downloads sold.
- Luke Laird tweeted about working with Hillary Lindsey in the studio on something for Carrie yesterday.

It also debuted at #43 on the Hot Digital Songs chart.
Anyone have the debut for the Hot Country Digital Songs chart? I'd imagine that it made the Top 15. :)

Like MJs Big Blog, Yahoo! Music also did a feature on Idols' booking fees but they got a little more info after speaking directly with the liaison agency who published the figures: So Carrie's fee can range from $200K to $1 million. Not bad at all ;)

In their Facebook page, Cosmo Australia had this to say about Carrie in the comments area:

Carrie's doing a stadium performance?! I don't normally post, but this peaked my interest as well so I did some research: Per their site, stadium capacity is a total of 52,500. CarrieHQ also found a few pics: I'm thinking this could have been for rehearsal since we haven't heard much about it other than the article posted above.ETA: The performance is listed for Friday Aussie time and it's approx. 4 AM there. We'll be hearing more about it tomorrow. These particular pics were from the media-only showcase... two separate events.

I feel like...and I'm not sure, I'm sure it's different because of it's location, but that's a lot of money for that amount of land.

Carrie Underwood, Gary Allan, Darius Rucker Volunteer for ACM Music CampCarrie Underwood, Gary Allan and Darius Rucker are among those who will be volunteering their time during the second annual ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp taking place June 26-July 1 in Nashville. Little Big Town, Wynonna, producer Mark Bright and songwriters Odie Blackmon and Brett James will also offer their time to the program aimed at individuals with developmental disabilities. Funded by the Academy of Country Music, the camp enables the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center in its work to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families through research, training and service. Activities planned during the camp include a recording session with Underwood and Bright, a songwriting session with Allan, Blackmon and James and a live performance with Rucker at the Grand Ole Opry. --- Not that there was ever any doubts, but I'd say that pretty much confirms Mark Bright will be producing the upcoming album.

I wonder if a switch in producers would give Carrie that award-winning album? Just a thought. On another note I feel Carrie and Mark were heading in the right direction with "Play On" after the production level on "Carnival Ride". Hopefully it only continues to improve.

I certainly wouldn't mind Carrie experimenting with some other producers. How awesome would it be if she got someone like Shania's ex-husband, Mutt Lange to produce a song for her?

No, but I think it'd be cool. I love the production he did on Shania's albums.

ETA: Alright, I stayed up in the wee hours of the morning to cap her halftime performance via a stream (which was a bit glitchy in the beginning as you will see) but it should fulfill your Carrie withdrawal disease for now until a HQ one appears which should appear. Enjoy! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mwibes--8wEWhat would Carrie fans do without you, vinman? Always the saviour. Thank you so much! ETA: Another great performance from Carrie!
