I AM SO EXCITED!! I love Carrie. I got third row tickets to her concert at the sprint center last year... THOSE LEGS!!! They make me want to be straight.
Anyway, I think she is one of the best vocalists in this industry, especially among country. (I'm not a huge fan of country music but she makes me love her)
I am eagerly anticipating this, I loved Play On.

I'm so happy for Carrie on winning 3 awards tonight and can't wait to hear information on everything Carrie's planning for 2012.

Just got back from the show. I didn't realize the amount of respect Carrie really received from her peers until, when she entered to go to her seat, people actually stood for her as she walked towards the front row. She gave quick hugs to Jason Aldean and his wife, and Toby Keith. She mingled with Miranda and Lauren, as well. Such a fun thing to see Carrie be so interactive with everyone! I was so stoked when I heard that she was on the carpet. As soon as I sat down in my seats, I went on Twitter, and EVERYONE was blowing up the feed about how she was there, which irked me since I was just out at the red carpet 10 minutes beforehand. Oh, well. I got to see Thompson Square and Alabama from, like, 2 feet away from me, so that was cool. Carrie looked as cute as a button tonight! And I flipped a bitch as soon as I heard those magical words about her having an "amazing 2012" planned for us all! Oh, and I just joined the FC. So excited!

Aw, her outfit was so cute. She looks like a snow princess. Anyone have the videos of her accepting the awards?

I'm fine! All cleaned up now I'm beyond thrilled to hear her say that. I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but whenever Carrie likes something, I like it - even when it comes to her music... so I can't help but be ecstatic over this!

This is probably old news to most, but definite NEWS to me. I had not heard Carrie sing 'Noel' until just now (which apparently is Carrie's holiday release to radio this season). In case others, like myself, have not had the pleasure of experiencing this song, here it is: This is one of my favourite vocal performances from Carrie. Her voice is so delicate, tender, yet strong. I love the cracking in her voice during the verses- it adds a special touch to this song. The denouement of the song in falsetto is just gorgeous. Probably my favourite rendition I heard of 'Noel' to date. A+

Any advice for someone who would love to buy Carrie's Christmas songs that were on the Carnival Ride Holiday Edition but didn't know about it at the time and now is left out in the cold? DYHWIH is still album only on any other albums it's on at itunes. Oh Holy Night is no where on itunes that I can find and neither is The First Noel. This is so frustrating for me. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing is available for purchase on itunes and I got the album which has her What Child Is This? I'm particularly frustrated b/c Oh Holy Night is my favorite Christmas song and Carrie's version is SO amazing.

Neally, Fyi, she performed TFN live on the Opry dated 12/16/08. It's an audio cap on my site under AUDIO, GRAND OLD OPRY if you want it. Quincyeyes, the next best thing to getting that OHN track would be from my site where she performed it live at the XMAS in Washington event. Check under LIVE PERFORMANCES under video and audio. It's was back in 2005.

Some people say that you can still buy the special edition of Carnival Ride that had the Christmas bonus EP at Wal-Mart, but I'm not sure if it's still for sale. Try Amazon or maybe eBay.

It's losing to Country Girl (Shake it For Me)? Oh, hell, no. Time to do a voting spree. Carrie and Brad are now winning by .03% after being down by nearly .7% this morning. Keep voting guys!

"Remind Me" comes in at #16 on SPIN's 20 Best Songs of 2011: BRAD PAISLEY, FEAT. CARRIE UNDERWOOD, "Remind Me" Treating marriage's dying passion like an apocalyptic event — which it is — Paisley launches a melodic warhead that Underwood rides like Slim Pickens in a print dress and spray tan. Sizzle-lean guitar solo, too. ETA: FYI, no duet on this album, Carrie confirmed @ OFC. No duet but she is planning on asking a famous friend to contribute something to the upcoming album. My guess would be background vocals from Vince Gill or some guitar work from Brad.
